It's like coming home.
We've moved to a new home in the Alberta foothills--just east of the Rocky Mountains. And it feels like coming home.
I've spent most of my life in the Prairies. And I loved Manitoba--but our new mountain home, or near mountain, truly feels like home already.
I love this place.
I feel God has brought us here.

Welcome to your new life!
Thanks Violet. We already love the place.
Every day is a new life when you let the Lord make a new creature out of you! And I mean "creature" in the nicest way ...
Congrats on the relocate and I'm glad to see you still know how to post. I suppose your site is due for a redesign, at least the "About Me" section. The move you made can be daunting, but when the Lord gives you little signs that it was the right one (besides the peace in your heart) then it can be a true blessing.
Those grand-daughters are some cuties. It still amazes me how those little ones can squeeze your heart so much.
I meant to say that it amazes me how they can squeeze your and my heart so much. I have a 3 year old in the house now and while she can be difficult sometimes she also brings extra happiness in my life.
