Jesus modeled to us something we all need - loving relationships with each other. He selected twelve men to whom He entrusted His vision and scripture tells us those twelve men turned the known world upside down. This is our model of the church’s first SMALL Group.
SMALL Groups connect people most naturally with others who have similar interests and passions. SMALL Groups at Victory Christian Center are places where you can connect with people who have like interests, people who are at a similar stage in life or people who have experience in an area of life where you would like mentoring. There are a wide variety of groups to choose from. For the active person there is camping, softball or golf, as well as all sorts of other creative activities. There are groups focused on parenting, and friendship for the young married, seniors and singles. These groups reflect the congregation of Victory Christian Center and continue to grow and develop to meet the needs and interests of the people.
Belonging to a SMALL Group makes it easier to build relationships with each other and with God. Many things in our lives
are difficult; with a connection to a SMALL Group we are able to help each other apply the truth of the Gospel to our daily lives. Scripture tells us to encourage one another and serve one another, to rejoice and weep with one another, to build each other up and accept each other. SMALL Groups offer an opportunity to fulfill these commands along with offering a place for spiritual gifts to grow. SMALL Groups produce disciples, leaders and contributors; they reach the lost and they are lots of fun!
Victory Christian Center SMALL Groups meet in various locations throughout the tri-county area in Ohio and into Pennsylvania. Some meet in homes, businesses and parks and many meet here at our church facility. They meet at various times each week, including daytime and evenings and most meetings last an hour to an hour and a half. For much of the year, child care is available for groups meeting on Sunday and Wednesday evenings on the church grounds.
The easiest way is to stop by our SMALL Group/ Information Desk located in the foyer and sign up
for the class you are interested in. While you are there, you can ask all the questions you like. We have over 80 different groups to choose from, but if none of them appeal to you, please pray about and consider going through the simple application and training process and facilitating a SMALL Group yourself. Whatever you choose, your efforts are sure to become a rich and meaningful experience.
