In thirty days, 6000 students from all over the world will move in across the street from the Christian Campus House (CCH). And each of them needs to be connected…to God and to each other. Each of them needs to know they are loved…by God and by each other. Each of them needs to love and serve…God and each other.

There is a strong rumor that Houston is in the lead for World Youth Day 2014. If this were to happen, it would be phenomenal for St. Mary's. We are only an hour or so up the road from Houston and I think the Pope should take a short helicopter ride up Hwy. 6 to visit us.

This past Sunday marked the first service for the South Campus of Omaha Bible Church.  We are blessed to meet in the auditorium, cafeteria, and classrooms of Bellevue West High School.  This service marked a major step forward in our effort to establish a God-centered, cross boasting, expository ministry in the Bellevue, Offutt, Papillion area of Nebraska.

On Monday, I boldly identified my Itinerary for the rest of the summer: It looks specifically like Louisville/Lexington, Nashville, Missouri, Oklahoma, Lubbock, Denver/C. Springs, and Phoenix/Tucson are all in the mix of possible locations… yep, in the next 6 weeks or so. Maybe not all, and maybe not in that order.

This past Sunday at Omaha Bible Church we looked forward to the launching of a new campus in Sarpy County. As the preaching pastor of this new work the elders commissioned me at the conclusion of the service.  This was done tangibly through prayer and laying on of hands by the elders.

Fratres has received comments from Webster F. Cook confirming that he has returned the Sacred Host to the Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Central Florida campus. I would personally like to thank Webster for doing the right thing and support him in his newfound reasonable approach to issues surrounding separation of church and state.
