I’m not sure how many are listening to the new WinExtra Discussion Points podcast that I am doing on the blog but I’ve enjoyed doing them and really look forward to making it a regular thing. For those of you interested in either calling in (via Skype or some other phone type) just drop by the Talkshoe page for the Monday to Friday show anytime between 9PM EST (6PM PST) and 9:30 PM.

Back in the grand old days when blogs weren't a household name and we internet on our phones was just an awesome concept, these were those of us who blogged ever so freely. Over time though, we learned a couple of things we could do with our blogs. One of it was that it didn't have to resign itself to being a glorified online diary.

What does a high Alexa rating mean to a webmaster? It shouldn’t mean that much as it’s not accurate. Alexa is a website that tracks a website’s traffic history, and gives a ranking based upon the number of visitors. Alexa utilizes web usage information, which tells us what is being seen on the internet.

Over the past few months, I’ve been an occasional co-commentator for the Elite Tech News podcast. It was started by MG Siegler of ParisLemon and Venture Beat who rounded up several tech blog “B-listers†to participate in a panel discussion of current tech topics.

You have to go see Jon Swift to get the low down on this one. I do have to agree, Calling voters whiners and running over the opposition's supporters with a Corvette might have worked in previous elections, but I don't think they are going to work in this one.

I’m struggling. I really want to write about my experiences at BlogHer this year, but I’m kind of at a loss for words. My feet are aching, my mind is tired, and quite frankly, I’m finding it difficult to articulate all of the things that are swirling around in my brain.
