Highlighted Match: Armin & Sal

The guys in this month’s match are the poster boys for physical activity. Armin told us in the first month of mentoring that keeping up with Sal was great exercise.

Armin is the Associate Dean of Spanish Affairs for Global University. Sal is turning 7 this month and loves the zoo, mini-golf and visiting the library. These two guys are some of the nicest you will ever meet. They enjoy each others company so much that just about anything they do is an adventure. Armin admits that Sal is more outgoing than he is but tells that they both love to talk, which has been great for learning to trust each other. The amazing thing about Armin and Sal is how well they know each other. Armin’s advice for a new mentor is this: “I try to learn what Sal likes...by listening and remembering what he says, I can show him how important he is to me.”
