Friday Five: What You Absolutely, Positively, Can't Leave Home Without

We will be at a chaplain's convention when you all are answering the Friday Five Questions. I'll look forward to reading your answers next week when I get home. At the moment we are trying to get the car loaded so we can hit the road, so this will be a simple F.F. This running around madly in order to leave has me wondering: what are the five things you simply must have when you are away from home? And why? Any history or goofy things, or stories?

Here are the instructions for the magical little link. Copy and paste the following: what you want the link to say goes here For a complete how-to, click here.

Great Friday Five! However, I am not hitting any road right now since school starts for us teachers on Monday, but I have done enough traveling to know the top 5 things I must have here.

And what perfect timing! Tomorrow morning I head off for two weeks for our Congregation's General Chapter. Every 6 years all of our Sisters gather for prayer, celebration and to chart our course for the next 6 years as a Religious Community. Please keep my groovy sisters in your prayers!

This was a great play, and I can't wait to see everyone's answers. I played here, and the timing is perfect, because I'm traveling for work this week!

The Lady Midnight, Empress of Everything, weighed in on this question also, on the Archbishop of Catterbury blog. Hope you'll stop by there, too!

Oh fun! I will try to play later and certainly read other responses....but now I'm off to preside over two funerals, one smallish (30 or so) and one largish (300 or so)....one simple and one causing some controversy in the parish....sigh...

enjoy all, and pray for me.
