THE last flying display of the Farnborough International Airshow 2008 took place yesterday, with The Red Arrows closing the show as fits the tradition.

I took over 200 pictures and now have to triage them for post-processing. There will be disappointments of missed shots and having used the wrong settings on the camera. But, looking on the bright side, I managed more “keeps” than during the last airshow.

Anyway, until Farnborough Airshow 2010, enjoy the pictures (more will be added as I get done with them) and some interesting facts about the event.

Farnborough International Airshow is the world’s largest temporary exhibition. The “build up†period takes 4 months prior to the start of the show. 3,600 tonnes of temporary structures are transported to the show site 90,000 sq. metres of structures are erected on site, providing tailor -made floor space that would accommodate London’s Royal Albert Hall no fewer than 30 times! Some 6,000 contractors will be on site at peak time to create the exhibition halls, chalets, company facilities and public dining areas. Around 1,500 exhibiting companies from 35 countries attend the show

Yea…and i guess many of the snaps you took got bad…but the ones you published on flickr ar just TOP. Good work.
