The truth hurts

Thursday, 19 June 2008 16:54 GMT

THIS is a response to Jean-Mathieu and Anil, both of whom responded vehemently to my post on Nomad. It started as a reply to their comments, but I decided to make a post of it.

Would either of them two (if they are actually two different persons) care to point out where my analysis (if they consider that post to be one) is wrong?

Jean-Mathieu, you’re mistaken about me getting commissions from Emtel. You see, when a company provide a good service, it’s natural for their customers to praise them without needing any monetary incentive. Unfortunately, there are only bad things to be said about Nomad, and I wouldn’t lie about it even for money. Here’s what is a fact for me: Emtel rocks, Nomad sucks. Period.

(If you had read my blog in the past, you would have seen that I have written a few good things about Nomad, but that was a very, very long time ago.)

Democracy talks about neutrality? When did I say this blog was democratic and allowed free speech? It’s written and paid for by me, so if you don’t like it, feel free to fuck off. The only reason I’ve even allowed your comments through is so I can have a laugh.

From AFRINIC, the IP address (196.22.145.15) from where both Jean-Mathieu’s and Anil’s comments originate:

Maybe it’s my turn to question if Jean-Mathieu/Anil has/have anything to gain by supporting a company that do so much dis-service to their customers.

Eddy.

I was suprised by the comment of Jean-Mathieu to the original post:

Hi

Sincerely, i’m interested - you work for which company? any commission based on this website or posting these comments?
How much money? tell me, then i can to some bitching about nomad/emtel/orange/mtml…
Human rights encourage free speaking. Thats the basis of democracy. But democracy talks about neutrality in speech & acts. I dont
think it talks about talking ill about a company in favour of another (UNLESS YOU GETTING MONETARY COMMISSIONS) HEHE. KEEP IT UP BOSS.

Letme know how much money you getting. Thanks.

cheers mate

This is clear example of bad customer service and everything one should not do when one has unhappy customers on one’s hands. The right thing to do would have been to ask the unhappy customer where the company went wrong, and try hard to fix the problems.

Eddy, you are right. I, too, tend to praise a company when I get good service.

Yep, noticed that, too :-) Thanks for the link, Faisal.

networkplus.mu is no longer active, and there are loads of broken links on nomadlive.com. Talking about lack of professionalism…

Eddy.

LOL!

“Human rights encourage free speaking. Thats the basis of democracy. But democracy talks about neutrality in speech & acts.”

I wonder from where he copy-pasted that one, I don’t think he/she/they came up with these words themselves, if they are stupid enough to post under different names under the same I.P Address.

Speaking about Emtel v/s Nomad, I am sorry - but a neutral ground cannot be found, since the level of service is almost inexistent for Nomad.

HO HO HO - bet you wanna know how much commission I am getting now for writing this eh?

I’d be glad to answer you J-Mat/Anil/Whatever. Care to comment on this post? :D

Hey everyone i am not a big fan of nomad…but i just wanna express my point of view. Yea u r all right that nomad suck! I agree but magically where i live…dans coin mountain lol am getting a reasonable conektion. I just took nomad last month…still working fine till now…and hope it will continue.

I think momad’s network is very bad but there are some minimum places in mauritius where we do get a reasonable conektion.

But I also have many friends who complain about nomad. infact most of them complains. I used nomad before and i can say it sucked! bt this time i re took it…le soi dizant the “new improve nomad”…well its still fine till now la.

I wanted to take myT but no phone line at my place and couldnt wait for telecom to come and install the line…so i took nomad. well its a one year contract…and i will see if they keep giving me a good service.
