We've been seeing an anointing of the Spirit recently and Wednesday's services have been loaded with Glory...There is a solid group in the church that wants to experience the Kingdom come and that the Lord stretch out His arm to perform signs and wonders.
Without a move of God and a touch of heaven on earth and without the Lord performing signs and wonders we will miss many salvations of family, friends, and acquaintances...Acts 4:29-31.
I don't doubt we will see some come to the Lord and others that will join our fellowships as we placate the natural man in providing a totally "non-threatening" gospel that will not require change, power, or Holy Ghost moving...but I think that will be such an insignificant portion of the plan God has for these last days.
We are planning to have FRIDAY NIGHT FRESH FIRE meetings during the month of June at COTC. You are invited to come and expect God to show up in His might and power!
The goal is to SEE GOD'S GLORY AND PRESENCE and for SOULS to be saved and FOR GOD TO STRETCH OUT HIS HAND TO PERFORM SIGNS AND WONDERS.
We have tried to *help* God by not putting Him "on the spot" to heal or deliver and use the cliche "well, salvation is the most important thing." God used signs, wonders, healings and salvation as "a package deal" according to Isa.53 and even when Jesus mentioned that one is no harder than the other...as they flow out of the same stream. Of course, it's better to enter the kingdom lame than go to hell "whole." However, we cannot afford to compartmentalize what was purchased by His stripes and the death, burial and resurrection or we will not only lose the expectancy of miracles but we will take away the "miraculous" from salvation. We will make salvation a "membership" rather than the supernatural rebirth that it is.
Friends, we need an ANOINTING OF FRESH FIRE...to be witnesses...to be light bearers...to be delivers and healers! FIRE!
I am believing for our city to come to the knowledge of Jesus as LORD AND SAVIOR! I am believing for your city and your family!
As we position ourselves to receive and press in to the kingdom of God, I believe He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh and we will be able to ASK FOR THE NATIONS. We must refuse to believe that the enemy has the last word for our cities! God said to ask Him for the nations...not the devil. As on the day of Pentecost when they positioned themselves for 10 days and pressed in to the KINGDOM of HEAVEN then, in turn, after 10 days the KINGDOM of HEAVEN invaded into the EARTH.

U Gotta Leg to Stand On!
What a blessing to say "HEY" again...
Wednesday night I shared a thought with the church, re: AMOS 3:12.
The Word says, "as a Shepherd takes (snatches) from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear..." I know I'll take this out of context but, I'll do the scripture no harm to say...
We were snatched out of the lion's (the enemy is as a lion) mouth by our Chief Shepherd and maybe we're just a leg and an ear. It looks like nothing is left of the lamb but, you do have a "leg to stand on the Word of God and an ear to hear the report of the Lord"...so if you can STAND ON THE WORD and HEAR WHAT THE LORD SAYS...you will be VICTORIOUS!
Don't let the devil emphasize the "left overs" after the battle and make you think there's not enough left for the Lord to use. I declare you have been redeemed (snatched) from the jaws of trials and temptations...and will be able to STAND ON and HEAR the RHEMA (God's specific word for your issues) even though you seem to be too small - fragile - weak - insignificant - torn - and only left with A LEG AND AN EAR!
You have been made KINGS AND PRIESTS and MORE THAN CONQUERORS (HUPO-NIKES) to rule and reign IN THIS LIFE by CHRIST JESUS!
SO QUIT WHINING AND GET UP ON YOUR "LAST" LEG, STANDING ON THE WORD AND HEAR WHAT THE LORD SAYS!!!

PRESENCE
It matters that we maintain GOD'S PRESENCE in our lives...
Oh yeah, I know, HE'S EVERYWHERE...there's no place He can't be...well yes, that's the truth but...His being some place doesn't mean that place will be changed...for an example He is in every bar, shot house, back room drug palace and the beat goes on...BUT notice what the Word says about Jesus. In Acts 10:38 the Word says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and He (Jesus) went about doing good healing all those oppressed of the devil because GOD WAS WITH HIM...I think we have a SEED here!
I do believe that Jesus received power and unction from the Holy Ghost but, I also think we need to pay attention to the fact that GOD WAS WITH HIM. That gives us SUPER hope and faith to see the MIRACULOUS! Why? Because not only can we be FILLED with the Holy Ghost...GOD ALSO IS WITH US TO PERFORM EVEN GREATER THINGS...remember when Moses was in the wilderness and they were getting ready to travel and God was somewhat hacked off at the kids of Israel? The Lord said He would GUARANTEE the kids VICTORY over all five kingdoms arrayed against them and would supply all their needs and send angels with them...YOU'VE GOTTA LIKE WHAT OLD "MO" said in reply..."IF YOUR PRESENCE DOESN'T GO WITH US WE DON'T WANT TO GO."
Moses knew something of the Presence that we should also desire...in His presence is FULLNESS...a good example is in Luke 5 where the Bible records the miracle healing of ONE cripple who was lowered through the roof...the Word says the PRESENCE of the Lord was there to HEAL THEM ALL. Everyone could have had a healing or blessing because the PRESENCE was there!
Just consenting to the fact that He is present won't change the situation we must take advantage of having the CREATOR of the universe...the ALMIGHTY not only in the ring but, IN OUR CORNER! We need to recognize and utilize His presence by:
PRAYER...CONFESSION...OBEDIENCE AND PRAISE...as we magnify Him we will watch His presence illuminate the darkness and bring the necessary miracle into the suffering and lack. Simply begin to recognize Him in every area of your life to do WONDERS. Acknowledge His presence as being with you to STRENGTHEN you and CHANGE your environment.
Being a pastor (of a wonderful church I must say...COTC), I frequently hear folk say how they felt the presence of the Lord in a service...please keep feeling and expressing what you feel but, we must take advantage of the PRESENCE OF THE LORD to accomplish the reason of His being manifest through feeling or spiritual revelation...LET'S SEE SOME OF THAT STUFF THAT "EYE HAS NOT SEEN" AND LET'S HEAR SOME OF THAT "THAT EAR HASN'T HEARD" AND LET'S EXPERIENCE SOME OF THAT 'THAT HASN'T ENTERED IN THE HEART OF MAN..."
I certainly don't have all the answers, especially to "why did this...and why didn't He...and how long...and what did I do...?"
I do KNOW THAT IN HIS PRESENCE IS JOY ... HEALING ... DELIVERANCE ... PEACE ... VICTORY and I know that He is with you right now!!!
Jer.33:3 says CALL on His name and He WILL show you great and mighty things that you don't and can't know...refuse to suffer in silence, CALL on His name in covenant faith...He's right there with you!
I love you all and you are blessed; and if blessed... impossible to be cursed!
