Moving....
Last weekend in TN. What a crazy time... Movers Monday, the house isn't ready, but I guess they can pack it anyway. We are really looking forward to starting our new life in Homestead and getting entrenched in the culture, and community of Homestead and Lifepoint! Not sure Miami is ready but here we come....

Proud Pappa
Seems my oldest daughter was selected as the Athens TN Chamber of Commerce Student of the Year! It is a pretty cool award that is voted on by the faculty only. Plus her GPA was 3.76.
Kids are really awesome. If you love them and value them and give them value there is no end to the ways they will astonish you! Todays teens in broken home America need consistency and adult figures in their lives that will represent the Love of the Father and let them know they are not junk and throw-away people. We as a society see the teen population as lazy, slackers who will not amount to much in society. But it is the parents and the basic adult population that has set the standard. Kids and adults will rise to the standard that is set.

BUT I POSTED AGAIN. Life has been very hectic with trying to move and buy a home and work and school getting out. Blogging is not second nature to me yet. I think I need to set a reminder everyday to blog in my calendar.
Well we lost our house. The appraisal came in 52K below the purchase price. It seems crazy the market is falling that quick. We signed the contract on March 1 and 2 months later the market is crashing. I think we are going to rent for a while. Anyone know of a 5 or larger bedroom home for a good price? I need the extra rooms because we love opening our house to teenagers who need a stable place to live and the love of God in their life. I might lean towards Cutler Bay and try to get my daughter in at Coral Reef high school.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Expelled the MOVIE
Finally some real science behind Darwinism and Evolution from a Hollywood Star. This is a great way to get the message out. I highly recommend seeing this movie. It opens on April 18th and will be at Southland Mall.

Birthdays
Happy Birthday today to my son Luke who is 4, My Great Uncle, and so many others including myself.
Birthdays are great, the one day that you can do whatever you really want to and almost get away with it. I don't have a problem with getting older. I am 41 today and I never feel a day over 28. I have never associated myself with being in the 40s. I believe that is what makes you feel old. I love to surround myself with teenagers and do crazy stuff. Stay active, love life, love God, and love PEOPLE.

Random Thoughts from a Lunatic Mind
Even though the price of gas is high, if it were to truly follow inflation we would be paying over $9 a gallon.
I love my MAC! Watched a movie on the plane today and it was awesome!!
Allegiant Air is a great airline even if both times I have flown from Knoxville to Fort Lauderdale we have been delayed 30 min. Not the airlines fault. If you have to fly try Allegiant Air from Fort Lauderdale.
People will rise to the expectations set by you and the others around them. Especially YOUR CHILDREN!!!
