Today at Church, Pastor Travis talked about the “Funk in Temptation”

Philippians 2:12-30

1.  If you have loving Godly leadership, listen and obey within the context of scripture.

2.  People disobey because we think we are smarter and can see our situation better.

3.  The truth is that we are often blinded by the nearness of are dysfunction.

4.  Recognizing temptation to sin is a gift from God.  It is the convicting/convincing power of the Holy Spirit in your life.

John 16:5-8

5.  If you love Jesus, live for Jesus.  Let your walk match your talk.

6.  God places people in your life that can help you grow and mature in Jesus.

Youth Group was awesome, we had fun. It was my first time. My friends Jena and Laura came with me.  I can’t wait until next Tuesday night. It’s movie night!  Thanks Pastor Alex–You Rock!

Cooking, Painting, Writing Songs, Singing, Drawing, Playing the Piano, All kinds of Music, Knitting, Sowing, Ceramics, Exercise.

Sunday 6,2008. I went to kids life in the fist service.  We learned about worship, and that you need fuel up to keep your motor running.  I am leading worship next Sunday, and I can’t wait.

12-11 was my moms birthday. I got up fixed her some coffee and eggs and went back to bed. For lunch we went to Apple Bees and she got every thing she wanted. She had the best birthday ever!
