We had some flooding here last week.
Thankfully, it was nothing like further south in Wisconsin or Iowa.
Still it made quite a mess of our city.

Yes! It was literally pouring into the basement.

I have no idea.
We don't need the pool anymore.
Our front street. I've never seen this street flood and it did twice last week.

This is 1/2 way into our front yard. The brown stuff is mulch from all sorts of yards.
We're drying out. We had to throw away a few things from the basement but it wasn't as bad as other areas so we are thankful.

Wow. Last summer, it rained here for almost the entire month of June and most of July--it was wild. A creek runs behind our house--I kept praying that it wouldn't fill up (our backyard turns into a lake without the creek overflowing into it!!).
What a cute neighborhood--I love old houses!!

Wow! I sure hope you have dried out by now, or you've at least started building your ark, LOL!
