Something To Consider
With the American economy going down the drain, this may be a good time to plan a trip to Brazil. In less than 10 days, the dollar went up from about R$ 1.60 to R$ 2.31 today, and Rio is celebrating Gay Pride over the weekend.

Newcomer Weder Wilham is featured in the monochromatic edit from the seventh issue of Junior magazine shot by Pascoal Rodriguez.

More pictures after the jump.
Models Felipe Anibal and Lucas Malvacini, who are featured in the latest issue of Junior magazine, share the love from Juiz de Fora.

The picture was taken by my friend Sergio Mattos, who was in Juiz de Fora over the weekend for a fashion event. Check out more of his pictures of the boys backstage after the jump.
Because I missed seeing Flavia de Oliveira at the Paris shows last week, here are some pictures of her in the ad campaign for Brazilian designer Priscila Darolt.

That is actually one of my favorite campaigns in Brazil this season.
This was certainly not a season for new Brazilian faces, especially in Paris. Raquel, Aline Weber, Bruna, and Daiane reigned supreme once again, and the four of them walked the Louis Vuitton show yesterday.

I guess we have to wait until next fall for a new Brazilian girl to start shining. I am still keeping my bets on Gracie Carvalho and Natalie Edenburg.
This month Nido Barroso becomes the second black model to ever pose for Terra's The Boy.

Nido is 21 years old and hails from Salvador. Visit The Boy for more of the spread shot by Felipe Lessa.
FYI, the first black model featured by Terra was Ramirez Allender in September of last year. Check out his pictures at:

Victor Gaspar had been absent from the blog for a while, but his booker just emailed me these new shots by Du Borsatto.

Victor is represented by Ragazzo Model Management.
Two exclusive pictures of model Felipe Anibal which did not make it to the seventh issue of Junior magazine.

The magazine is already on Brazilian newstands.

Video Music Brasil presenter Marcos Mion disrobed live on MTV last night. Skip to 2:30 to watch it on the video below.
Too bad I missed the show. Pictures via Estrelando.
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the sexy cover shoot for the seventh issue of Junior magazine.

After my posting of the cover of A Capa, many of you emailed me asking for more pictures of Diego Russo. I emailed the photographer Paulo Cabral, and he sent me some exclusive images to share with you guys here.

Didio's pictures of Felipe Anibal and Felipe Torretta for the anniversary issue of gay magazine Junior are certainly some of his best to date.

There are more over at Models by Didio, and after the jump.
In spite of her triumphant comeback during the Brazilian shows back in June, Ana Claudia Michels stayed under the radar in New York and Milan. Yesterday, however, she confirmed her coolness factor by opening the Givenchy show in Paris. Now THAT is how you make a proper comeback.

You heard it here first.
For pictures of the Givenchy spring 2009 show, visit Style.com. With Isabeli, Raquel, Daiane, Aline Weber, and Barbara Berger also on the casting, it was the Paris show with the most Brazilan girls so far.
MTV's Video Music Brazil (or VMB as they are called here) happens tonight. Unlike the VMAs, there are more than five nominees in each category, as well as awards for Best International Artist, Best Concert, Hit Of The Year, and Web Hit.
This year's nominees for Best Video include two animations by Charlie Brown Jr. and Nação Zumbi.
Visit MTV Overdrive to watch the ten videos up for Best Video Of The Year. For a list of all nominees, check out VMB 2008.
Now let's hope the show doesn't suck as bad as the VMAs.

Newcomer Victor Macedo was so popular last week that I decided to email his booker and ask for pictures from his book. Turns out that I also found out that he is moving to Rio soon to join 40 Graus Models. Check out more pictures of him after the jump.
