The Three Gossips
May 7, 2008 |

Arches National Park contains the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches. The 73,000-acre region in Utah’s arid Moab desert has over 2,000 natural sandstone forms carved by water and wind.

Utah has some spectacular landscapes. Spent a week in the parks of Southern Utah last year, and put it high on the list of place to-return-to.

Hooray for Utah. It’s such a beautiful state. And not to brag, but Utah has more national parks than any other state. (I’m a teacher and required to know these things!)
The minute I saw the title I knew..Arches is such an amazing place..we trekked our hearts out! Its so beautiful..I know I will be kicked when I say that arches is way way way beautiful than grand canyon…but thats what I feel. There is such a hype for GC and not so much abt Arches. Guess its cos of the distance from LV. anyways..I will upload our snap of the same and show U guyz..That was my v v first nature photo and am quiet proud of it.http://www.flickr.com/photos/26378657@N02/2475070980/?edited=1
Another beautiful thing about Arches is the Sunrise. Th early morning rays makes the rock shine golden. This pic was taken around 6:30 am

beautiful shot.
Gorgeous pics! Did you guys do the Park Avenue hike? I want to do that the next time we are there and go closer. And, hopefully rent a jeep for some minor off-roading before someone trashes the one meant for us. Arches is definitely one of my fave NPs.
we didn’t do any hikes. it was a day trip in a jiffy from SLC. want to go back.
Amazing pics :D..

May be its just my imagination, but is the second pic a crop of the first one?
Beautiful earth colors!

Those are way cool…you know where else you two need to go? Monument Valley. Or have you already…

Love the sunrise there.. Id prefer to go back there again rather than the canyons.
