Hellooo, (my little rant) this whole area is a confusion right now - there are too many standards.
duh? there are feed publishers and feed readers. Both should be able to display and read.

In ideal world we shouldn’t be reading. Flickr does this, Company xyz does this and Abcsite does this. One standard will be fine.
I am hoping for the day that the standard will be made accessible and universal. But I also hope it will be flexible. For example, it is not always possible for a media publisher to know the exact length of a flash video, so that he can fill out the enclosure tag properly.
Or the exact width of a jpeg image. Anyway feel free to shoot me and correct me where i’m off base. But it seems there are so many people trying to do different things that it’s totally nuts.

It starts off with discussing the web and what is happening on the web. That the web has changed and is growing and becoming even more omnipresent and expansive.
Applications are moving onto the web and this is discussed. It is not just information, and this is where security needs to be discussed.

We list audio and video podcasts. At the moment if you have an audio podcast you can stream it directly on the site. Check out some of the ones we have listed in IE to see what I mean.
All different genres of podcasts are catered for. If you have a new category just suggest it. We want to grow fast but also have reasonable quality as well.
The link again to the Podcasting Directory is http://www.podcastdir.net
