Barking Up The Right Tree

17 07 2008

I’ve about exhausted my drive for flower photos and we’re not quite close enough to Autumn for leaf photos so here I am, macro lens in hand, looking for the interesting patterns one can find when one goes barking up the right tree.

Bark makes for some of the best abstracts, doesn’t it? I once found a gnarly tree with bark resembling a large foot. Five toes & everything!

This is a fascinating image. It looks like you have a knack for really exploring your world. It’s about SEEING what’s out there, and you usually don’t have to venture far. (That’s good news with today’s gas prices!)

Very nice - my daylilies won’t speak to me if I switch to bark already though!
