Hiya! I’m shit..sorry ….never seem to have the time to upload stuff to here and run a company, and network and see my friends…darling sweetie darling…must seem like I’m having a ball, but I broke into a sweat today. (Sorry dad, i know… horses sweat, men perspire and women glow)

I  nearly cried earlier when an NP team member messed up the footage on a job…

If you’re applying to NP as an editor or camera operator, please don’t lie to me about how much experience you’ve had previously and if you’ve done a degree in TV production, I expect you  have done a degree in TV production-honesty really is the best policy.

So on to this problem of time with blog stuff…Mr Butcher says I only need Qik and Twitter? Is the quality of Qik on iphone really good enough? Has anybody got a Qik with iphone you can show me a link to QIK video?

Tec and Net stuff  in my London recently:

Last Wed night was DrinkTank…ohhhh it was good….I hadn’t eaten all day and there was enough food for me to have an entire dinner and more- Well done Mcloughlin!

There were some amazing people including the usuals Scott Rutherford, Robert Loch, Joshua March, Bob, Meriem and some really great new people too: Victoria McEvedy, a knowledgeable media lawyer, Angus Bankes from Moreover, Mattias Tyrberg from Sapl, Jon Lynch from cmypitch.com, Julian North from Wahanda (can I review some treatments please?) , Ville Vesterinen from Arctic Start-ups, Renate Nyborg from Madhouse, Paul Christian  from Web Biz Developer, Andreaz Tori from Zemanta….and many more some of you were from the TechCrunch Party last Thursday which was great fun….

Mike Butcher organised a big, fat Techcrunch party on Thursday which was amazing with Bindi  (that sexy Microsoft woman) and loads of the big ones: Michael Smith, Tom Boardman, Paul Walsh,  Alex Tew, Michael and Paul Birch…And I got to do ballet on a Segway!

And apparently it was Seedcamp week last week too?! Next year Newspepper want to be filming all your Seedcamp events please, Alex Hoye!

 

 

 

 

 

Tomorrow I’m going to The Danvers and Barry Show… Bootlaw www.Bootlaw.org … on Thursday Newspepper are reporting at Twestival and I’m gonna try and make The Big Fish Network Party….woooooo wooooo hoooooo….hold on a minute ….how could I possible forget London Fashion Week??!!

 So Michelle Obi, the hot lay-d who runs www.myfashionlife.com supplied the backstage passes and  Newspepper supplied the cameras.

We were there all day Friday and it was incredibly exciting. We were ‘’Backstage’’ in the main BFC tent and interviewed all the designers, skinny models and make-up artists…More video coming soon!

We didn’t have time to find another reporter for Fashion Week and in the end we only went one day, not three like planned….bug me next year if you want to report and I will get in contact with my people.

Newspepper are filming at the Internet Retailing Conference on Tuesday 7 October, 2008, Womanunlimited event next Tuesday http://womenunlimitedevents.co.uk/, Genderside website launch next Thursday http://www.gendersite.org/ and this NESTA event next Tue evening http://youthledpaneldebate.eventbrite.com/ and we are filming the coming Facebook Developers garage with Joshua March until December….phew! that’s only a few in October…

…I’m gonna check out Social Media Camp and Silicon Stilettos in October…so watch this  .

My brother’s got a new robot and is obsessed by them taking over the world…but he poses the question ‘Is having sex with a robot adultery? What do you think?
