Hi, I seem to have trouple printing impositions in Pagemaker 6.5. When I run a perfect print the layout is off centre which is very frustrating. The printer I use is configured to an SRA3 setting but in pagemaker 6.5 I am only presented with the option of printing in A3. Is there any way I can configure the print settings in Pagemaker 6.5 to SRA3?...
Acrobat Pro 7 installed a pdf icon to print to pdf with embedded fonts in PageMaker 7. Will Acrobat 9 do the same thing? I lost that icon and ability when I installed the trial version of Acrobat 9 and am hoping it was due to the trial, not having the installation CD.
I have Adobe Pagemaker 7.0. I have recently purchased a font that works fine in Pagemaker but when i come to save the document into pdf in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 professional the font is no longer recognised. followed the instructions on the technote ( for pagemaker 7.0 fonts are substituted when you print ) ( <[link]> )( * ) but i can only import one of the fonts but i have 4 all of wich are the same font but ever so sligthly different suspect its seeing each font as the same name but iv made sure they are titled differantly...
Hi this is shantanu from India. I am using PM6.5. I prepare my documents in two column format. i.e. there are 2 columns (text blocks) on each page which are continuously threaded and there are several pages in a file. with the page numbering command (alt + ctrl + p), we can assign page numbers to each page....
I'm using PM 7.01a on a Windows XP machine. I'm trying to update the footer on a number of master pages in the same document. I edit one of the stories, select All Stories and Change All, I'm lucky if two of them get updated. The phrases are absolutely identical -- I know because when I edit one of the unchanged stories, the Find-Replace works perfectly....
Per my client's request, I had to purchase a lovely new OpenType font, AJenson Pro, for a book project I'm paging using PageMaker 7.0.1a in Windows XP. First it wouldn't print on my postscript HP laser printer, but downloading an updated printer driver from the HP web site easily fixed that problem. But I have done everything I can think of and I can't get the new font to appear in a .pdf created using Acrobat Distiller 5.0.5, which came bundled with PageMaker....
I'm a home user of PM. I've used it since version 2.0- or 1987, whichever came first! I never had any training, just some help from someone who had. Consequently, I've learned to use it intuitively. I have Version 7 on my computer, which I'm going to replace soon. Unfortunately, the new computer will come with Microsoft Vista, which is incompatable with PM....
I just tried and it wouldn't open it directly. Is there a trick or something I am missing? I really need to open this file in Windows version 7.0. Thank you.
