In this group, Gmail users share questions and information with one another. Any individual with a question or comment about Gmail is welcome to post here. If you'd like to find out just what Google Help groups are and how they work, please check out our group charter.
Google employees, known as "Gmail Guides," will be popping in from time to time to post announcements, share tips, and answer questions. Messages from Google employees will appear with a blue badge.

For all issues logging in, except hijacked or compromised accounts, loading your inbox, or problems with your password.
For using chat in Gmail and managing your contacts. Try the Google Talk Help Discuss for problems with Google Talk.
For customizing Gmail settings, including languages, pictures and adding custom "send mail as" addresses.
For composing new messages, drafts, replying, forwarding, uploading attachments, and auto-complete.
For problems with reading messages, such as garbled text, opening attachments, and "dead links." Not for delays/delivery.
For managing your inbox with filters, archiving, searching, deleting and labels (Gmail's approach to folders).
For all POP, IMAP and SMTP errors, and help with various email clients, such as Outlook, Apple Mail, and iPhones.
For failed or delayed messages, spam issues, fetching from other accounts, and forwarding mail to other accounts.
For help with the Gmail for Mobile Application, or accessing Gmail from your mobile browser. Not for POP or IMAP.
