If the web server has zend installed the gravatar plugin gives an error without the zend the gravatar plugin works with no errors ....
the error if zend is instaled is :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in wp-content\plugins\wp-gravatar\gravatars.php on line 752

and i clearly do not understand why ..

Hi!

It's in the middle of my holiday right now, but I'll see if I get a chance to check it out.

I'm also planning to do a complete rewrite of the code, so it might have to wait for that :-)

Sorry 'bout that!

Tks . anyway the zend problem could be complicated cause it gives the error only when the last zend engine is installed so maybe that the zend engine has a problem .
In fact there are 3 more problems with the plugin first on the administration page when you input and change values and options you have to update 2 times in order to update options and values ...
The second problem is with the recent comments widget , if you have an default avatar selected for no gravatar-user will be not showed up in the widget .
The third problem is not really a code error or something but it generates html errors i mean the browser understand well all but if you make a html validation it results that the image tag has no quotes are around the width and height values it should be width="value" not width=value ..

Hi!

All that and possibly more problems/errors with the plugin will be examined, and hopefully fixed when I do a re-write of the code.

Thanks for the heads up anyway!
