  1. Howdy! Love the plugin and it is working on my site. The only issue is I am unable to get to the settings page to modify anything.

I am running WP 2.5 with the laters WP-Gravatars plugin.

Across the top when I click 'Gravatars' it tries to go to /wp-admin/gravatars and gets a 404 error. If I slick the 'edit options' on the plugins activate page, it tries to go to wp-admin/themes.php?page=gravatars and gives a "Cannot load gravatar." error.

The gravatars are showing up, I just cant edit any options.

    Any ideas?

  2. Hi, try to download the test version. The only reason it is a test version, is that I've not uploaded the latest version to WordPress.org.

I use it on the site that the link goes to, and it works as is should with WP 2.5 there.

Give it a try, and see if it works better for you!

  3. I attempted to but the gravatars.php file I d/l from that page only has this in the file

    '

    '

  4. Yes, you have to right click, and choose save as, to download the file, just as it says after the link :-)

  5. I tried that the first time and opened it up in a text editor and that is all that the file shows. I attempted the d/l from firefox and IE just to see if there was a cache issue.

it's odd that that is all it gives.

  6. actually, i found the problem. WP-Gravatars is not compatible with the 'Lighter Menus' plugin that reworks that admin page for a better view.

I turned off that plugin and it works fine.

The only issue I am having now is that when I select "exlude Gravatars on pages" it doesn't seem to do anything and still places a gravatar on each page. Is there a way around this? I do not want the gravatar on every page.

  7. Hi, nice to know. The download works fine with FF 3 b5... If you want I can mail you the file as a zip file?

Regarding pages, have a look at this post.

  8. I'm having this same issue from admin I can't get to the WP-Gravatars settings page when I have Lighter Menus installed. Sort of sucks, but just wanted to confirm.

  9. I'm sorry, but I have not tried it with Lighter Menus on my systems.

I'll have a look when I do a complete rewrite of the plugin, and that is planed for this autumn.

  10. Umm, well... I had this same problem, apparently for the same reasons (thanks to Jhorsely and Rune for figuring that out). I just deactivated Lighter Menus, fiddled with the settings in Gravatar, and reactivated it again when I was finished. Seemed to have worked. But then again,I don't have any comments yet, so I can't speak on the "gravatar on every page" thing.

The Author About Box is working, and ... there's a little blue Gravatar image to the right of it, instead of my personal gravatar ... even though I uploaded my personal image and it does show on the admin page. How might I fix that, please...?
