John continued rebuking these people to the very end of his life:
“This is the message we have heard from Him [God] and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies [continually cleanses] us from all sin.” (1 John 1:5-7).
The very definition of fellowship centers around what two or more people have or share in common. What every child of God has in common with God the Father, is God the Son! This is why John is so emphatic concerning the Christian's fellowship is with the Father.
"Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just My own. Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, who is doing His work." John 14:10
"To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27
The next time you begin to fear Jesus might deny you brother or sister, fight that flesh and Satan's temptation to it. Recall God's grace and its ability to instruct you to 'Just say NO!'. With such a display of glory, majesty and power in our eternal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is no wonder the hymnwriter boldly proclaimed, "Hallelujah, what a Savior!"

Know this, Beloved, some of the boys represent people in your life and the world, who will try to cut you down and sway you from your task; and all represent the many hordes of demons sent by the evil one, for they can not desecrate your beliefs, so they will try to rip them from your body with pain and anguish.
