I'd say "too soon" but then again that's what happens when things end abruptly

PC part: My God man! WAY TOO SOON!!

/I can laugh at this because if we are to believe the Christian Right, I will already be going to hell for many other reasons.

That would be airport...
And every major city have an "Eliot Spitzer Drive: so the ladies of the night have a place to congregate.

Tim Russert's genius:

"If you're gonna drink, ya gotta eat."

God that guy ruled.

tgregory [TotalFark] 2008-07-24 10:15:22 AM
i'm not at all politically correct, so i'm really getting a kick out of the headline.

wallytacker [TotalFark] 2008-07-24 10:15:24 AM
That is the greatest headline ever written; it rivals the works of both Shakespeare and Faulkner. Future generations will live by those words.

Well, it is a damn good headline!

I like Tim Russert and all, but the way the press keeps gushing and going on about him you'd think he were JFK or Obama or something.

Enough already.

kellyshannon [TotalFark] 2008-07-24 10:17:19 AM
Very nice.

mcongraff 2008-07-24 10:18:45 AM
It's funny 'cause he died.

AcheronX [TotalFark] 2008-07-24 10:19:41 AM
I find it hilarious that it's the road that goes by the Bills' stadium, the team that Russert adored, which will probably be moving out of Buffalo before too long.

Wooly Bully 2008-07-24 10:20:33 AM
Wow, everyone so far likes this headline but me, I guess.

Subby either doesn't know or care what the word "left" means politically. There was nothing even slightly "left" about ol' Tim.

tical 2008-07-24 10:23:27 AM
Dont be so harsh on Cheney's "go to guy"

/fark it, let it flow

HarpuaMM 2008-07-24 10:28:53 AM
I used to work on that part of Rt. 20A, so I'm getting a heart-attack out of these replies.

Subby, headline is full of win. Many thanks.

Yeah, plus 20A doesn't curve left and end abruptly!

/as long as we're trying to kill a good joke.
//Russert was the shiat

Am I a bad person for laughing immediately without cringing first?

gunblade 2008-07-24 12:07:09 PM
Remember, Tim Russert was a shill for Bush and Cheney in the lead up to the Iraq invasion. Cheney leaked a claim to the New York Times that Saddam had been building nukes, and then went on MTP that afternoon to say "well, look what the New York Times discovered!"

Tim ate it all up.

HUH?

The New York Times is guilty of not fact checking, and buying into the Bush/Cheney bullshiat. Tim Russert sees something in the NYT he takes as fact and he's a schill for Cheney/Bush? Blame the Times for that, not Tim.

+1 Subby! I love it!

Switchblades 2008-07-24 12:25:34 PM
This headline is crude, vulgar, highly inappropriate, in poor taste, and possibly the most crass thing I've had the displeasure of reading on the Internet.

Dammit, if I wasn't a Liter, I'd +1 it, then +1 it again, then +1 it from behind.

/approves

Moses To Sandy Koufax 2008-07-24 12:52:30 PM
Two +1's up. Way up.

sarcastrophe 2008-07-24 01:39:26 PM
That's cold.

+1 subby.
