That is, that what they wanted was not the oil, per se, but *control* over the oil supply. Fuck with the market - turn the spigots on or off as needed in order to make HUGE money.

We have been having a ton of trouble with robberies. Our lawnmower and a bike was stolen several weeks ago. Four days ago the neighbor’s house about five doors down was ransacked in the middle of the day. But yesterday, a neighbor killed himself and other people broke into the house and robbed it while the guy lay dead on the floor. This was about a block and half from me. I didn’t know the man but it sure is creepy and heartless.

Can’t help wondering at that coincidence though, break-in & suicide both being so very rare. Have the police ruled out burglary-murder?

RC became a city about five years ago. Apparently, during the previous downturn in the economy the same kinds of things happened.

We have been here for six years and are just starting to really feel part of the community. It took me a long time to adjust to not being able to get back to the bay area. But now I am feeling a tad uncomfortable.

We have some methheads living near by.

Ron said his sister told him that people are stealing lawn furniture and ornaments in her little town in Illinois. It is happening everywhere.

I think they have ruled out murder. From the way people have been talking about it they are referring to neighbors who stole the man’s stuff. We live in a average suburban place but it borders some iffy parts of the county.

This is the second week actually. It is going really well. I have designed three sites. I did get a computer virus that I may have passed along to a client or too. I am enjoying talking with the clients.

It’s the Economy Stupid! Thanks George and the Rethuglians….. they have really screwed the pooch this time. And the top 1% are reaping 22% of the gross income from the GDP and their taxes are the least in 18yrs lets keep them taxes low and the rethugs want to lower them even more…. they hate Gov and they want to starve it into submission. And who pays the bills??? Thats right you and me in the middle…. do do do do 29 all over again. GOT GOLD??
