Balance, in contrast (black and white)

I like how this rock looks so precariously banced. This is the black-and-white version of the color shot.

For this one, I really bumped up the contrast. I like how that worked for this shot. It almost looks like photomicography.

Check out the color version for comparison, if you're up to it.
