Sometimes you gotta just take a stand

I found this guy crawling around on my laptop, so I thought I'd try to shoot 'im. Unfortunately, this little bugger moves fast! At least, when compared to my digicam, he does.

What I hate about point-and-shoot digicams is the lag between pulling the trigger and getting the shutter to flip. In this shot, my little proboscis waving friend was just about to enter the field of focus. So, I jumped the gun again.

Better luck next time.

PS (08/27/2007): This is, according to Wikipedia, a weevil, more specifically, an acorn weevil.
