Sophie Maxwell is a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, representing District 10. She was born in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco and has lived in the Bayview district for the last twenty years.[1]
Maxwell was first elected to the Board in 2000, when, as a result of the shift from at-large to district elections, she served a transitional two-year term. She was re-elected for four-year terms in November 2002 and November 2006.
