[edit] Biography

Brazill was a consulting producer and later a producer of NBC's 3rd Rock from the Sun.

Brazill created the FOX series That '70s Show, in which he, along with Bonnie and Terry Turner, created the characters, including Eric Forman, Donna Pinciotti, Michael Kelso, and Jackie Burkhart.

[edit] Arguments with Judd Apatow

Brazill and a then-unknown Judd Apatow had heated arguments through e-mail messages on their early career. Brazill claimed that Apatow has stolen his idea for a comedy about a rock band and used it on the The Ben Stiller Show.[1] The sketch was titled "The Grungies", a dark parody of The Monkees television series focusing on a outrageous Grunge band. Brazill compared the sketch with his unaired "Yard Dogs" pilot for MTV then stated that the sketch indeed copied his idea and left a profanity-filled message for Apatow, including him to "Get cancer".

Apatow was the only person who responded in a more positive way such as praising Brazill's success.
