The Library of Congress

So, what do we do with only two hours to visit the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.? If there is anything that frustrates me more, it is not having enough time to enjoy visiting a place like this. We walked around a little and took in a few of the sights, but there was so much more to do and to see.... The facility is cared for scrupulously and serves as a center of cultural learning. Written on the ceiling of a rotunda is a quote, "A LITTLE LEARNING IS A DANGEROUS THING DRINK DEEP OR TASTE NOT OF THE PIERIAN SPRING." We drank very little from that spring.

I have just returned from a trip to Washington myself. I have to say if you had only 2 hours you could not have picked a better site to see than the Library of Congress. This past week I saw ALOT of DC. My feet still hurt. But this is the building that I dream of spending more time in. When I go back I'm getting my readers card!
