I have finally got around to releasing MooPlug 0.4.7!
It includes the progress dialogs, relatitive filepath support and more!
Head on over and read the full Changelog if you’re interested and then get the download!
I got a bit bored so thought I’d make a list of expired domains, ended up finding quite a few good ones.
If this turns out to be popular I may do it more often. Let me know if you register any and I’ll update the list.

Google.com/chrome has just gone live! I’ve just downloaded it and am about to have a look!
Looking forward to trying it out.
It seems like after all of the years of rumours about a Google Browser, it looks looks like it’s finally happening!
The project is called Google Chrome and is due for release or announcement on Wednesday.
A comic book was created to virally promote the new browser and Phillip Lenssen has scanned it in for all to see at http://blogoscoped.com/google-chrome. (If the site’s down atm then give it a while as his server is struggling.)
There are some interesting features in the new browser:
A lot of the features sound like they are just getting the getting the best bits of all of the browsers, but the per-tab processes sounds very very good! I don’t think the browser will have a market share, but then Google has such a big influence on the web and so many web properties who knows!
When I first saw the comic I thought it was a very elaborate hoax, maybe someone’s starting Septemeber fools day? But there are a few things which make it look like it is genuine, the following sites give different results to what you’d expect if this wasn’t real:
I was talking to a mate I went to school with the other day and we started talking about when The Queen came on a visit.
In our English lesson after the visit there was a competition to write a poem about the royal visit. I can’t remember what the prize was, most likely a book token or something.
Well I entered the following poem (to the tune of three blind mice)
I seen the Queen
I seen the Queen
She was wearing green
She was very clean
De de de de de de de
I seen the Queen
I didn’t win!! I thought it was amazing! I don’t think she was even wearing green, but I wanted it to rhyme!
I was just having a look at some of my domains and wondered what my oldest registered domain is.
It’s Killer Carrot and I first registered it back in February 2003! I did have two other .co.uk domains as well, I had CrazyBadger.co.uk first but I didn’t renew that and let it slip a few years ago now. The third was GiantFerret.co.uk, which I now have the .net version of.
Not sure why my domain registrations were all so random back then! Guess I’m just a bit weird!
I never used it much apart from before Screenshot Sender got its own website.
I think my next oldest domain that I actually still use would be the SoundPack DB, but that was only registered in March 2005, seems much longer sometimes!
What’s your oldest domain you still own?
Just a rant about some things which annoy me about the iPhone!
Just a bit of a rant about somethings which annoyed me about the iPhone, we’ll see if any of the issues improve over time with updates!
I’m just trying out the Wordpress App on my iPhone!
It’s not too bad! Looking forward to when it’s a bit more developed so it can be used for other stuff like comment moderation on the go!
The updates I mentioned for the MooPlug website the other week have gone live, so it should now be much easier to keep upto date!
I was pretty much ready to release version 0.4.7 when I started work on a new function I needed for a personal project, so will have to wait till I finish that now! But I think it will he worth the wait ![]()
I had a party for my 22nd Birthday on Saturday, which ended up being called Dempsfest!
Was a good laugh, did have a Bouncy Castle booked, but they cancelled it at the last minute because it was raining ![]()
Luckily I’ve got a 10m x 5m waterproof marquee thing, we all took cover under when the rain started.
I picked up two 5 gallon barrels of Black Rat Cider on saturday morning (80 Pints!)Â and there were only a few drops left by morning!
Think I started drinking about 1pm, last few people went home about 2.30am, I stayed up drinking on my own for a bit and then a few mates come back who’d been out in town, ended up finishing drinking about 6am! Little bit tired now!
Looking forward to Dempsfest 2009 already!
