Best Poster Award

As the final full day of the DC-2008 conference came to an end, the working groups continued to develop projects that would carry over into the coming year in preparation for DC-2009 in Seoul Korea. At the final session, the names of the winner of the best poster award was announced: Marcia L Zeng, Wei Fan, and Xia Lin for the poster titled “SKOS for an Integrated Vocabulary Structureâ€.
As the final full day of the DC-2008 conference came to an end, the working groups continued to develop projects that would carry over into the coming year in preparation for DC-2009 in Seoul Korea. Currently, around 290 participants are registered for the conference. Online registration has been closed since 12 September, but last-minute registration (even for specific days) will be possible with cash payment (Euros) directly at the conference. The Max Planck Digital Library, the Göttingen State and University Library, the German National Library and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin have concluded a cooperation agreement on 7 Mai 2008. The institutions have agreed to collaborate in organizing the International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications 2008 (DC-2008).
