Ladies and gentleman, we have a winning combination right here! After Akon’s excellent rendition of MJ’s Wanna Be Startin Somethin earlier in the year, both of them went back to the studio to record this track. It’s classic Michael Jackson, and it’s catchy. You can actually imagine the music video – a choir singing and praising in the background, while MJ and Akon sings through the rain with the world’s current issues shown throughout the video. Yes, it is cliched and it is MJ.
I love this track. Easily my favorite track of 2008. And no, me being a Michael Jackson fan has nothing to do with it.
