The Turban Teaser
SharePosted on 14. May, 2007 by Gallivanter in Rewind
A sudden smack on the forehead while shouting the word “DOOT!”, followed by a pinch so hard you feel a chunk of your flesh is about to come off. Then the magic words repeatedly ensue – “What color? What color? What color?”

Yup, this is the infamous turban teaser. Whenever a turban accompanied by a human comes into sight, and, if you’re not aware of “its” presence, be prepared for a thump on your forehead. And though it may seem a little discriminatory now, as primary and secondary school kids – it was nothing more than a friendly banter. We had fun nursing our bruised foreheads on occasions like this.
There is however, a defense mechanism to safeguard your temple. You could smack the person on the forehead, shout “DOOT!” and then hold your fist clenched to your forehead, and make a key locking impression, to prevent you from being smacked.
We love our turbans. Thanks for the memories. Hehehe!
P/S: No SINGHS were harmed during DOOT-bashing, but mental anguish we can’t guarantee!
