Well, the name of the blog changed, so the name of the podcast has to change too. Hopefully, this is the last time. (If you’re keeping score at home, you’ll remember that I have changed the podcast name with every episode so far.)
In keeping with my “late to the party” theme, while I recorded the podcast tonight, the message in the Sermon Snippet is 3 months old.

Well, I’m resurrecting the podcast. It’ll be shorter and only one topic at a time. And a new name. (Gotten listen to find out.)
Also instituting a new feature within some episodes of the podcast — Sermon Snippets — where there will be guest appearances (unbeknownst to the guest) on the podcast.
Note: For Sermon Snippets, I’ll only be reproducing small pieces of stuff that’s freely available online. So, I think this falls within “fair use”. If a copyright owner has an objection, just let me know, and I’ll gladly take it down.
Today’s Sermon Snippet is from my pastor, Jaca Kier. The complete message from which the snippet is taken from can be found here: Christmas Through the Eyes of Joseph
Let me know what you think of the new edition of the podcast (and this one in particular).
(I actually recorded this shortly before Christmas, but the concept is applicable year-round.)

Wondering about something. I’ve drawn together a second podcast, complete with an appeal for more than one comment (like I got on the first one — thanks, Joe). I know I don’t have a boatload of readers, but I also know that I have more than one. And no, this isn’t a guilt-trip on you or an ego stroke for me — I’m just trying to figure out if it’s worth the effort (podcasts are more work for me than just scribbling here).
One thing I thought of was, instead of a standard 20-minute (give or take 5) podcast, would it be better to do 5-10 minute ones with just one topic (and without the long introduction) and do those more often? That would make things a bit less all-over-the-map topically, and would also be a bit easier to make.
So, let me know:
Just do it the way you’ve been doing it. (I can’t live without Ingrid’s “fanny-shaking” comment. And I’ll even think about commenting.) Go with the shorter one. (You’re more palatable in smaller chunks.) I’m just not into podcasts. I’m just not into your podcasts. You did a podcast?

Well, all the cool kids are doing it, so I guess it’s time for me to dip my big toe in the podcasting waters. Let me know what you think of the inaugural edition of Two-Sheds Radio.
