Decided to update my Life List :)

I'm still Terra, and I'm still 16 years young.
( I lost my place, but I can't stop this story )

1) Experience that elusive thing called bliss.
2) Move to New York and become a high powered lawyer.
3) Move to France and be a nobody author who always eats at cafes and doesn't have electricity.
4) Walk into a room without feeling terrified.
5) Read every Batman comic. EVER.
6) Cheat on a college exam.
7) Sing in front of my hero.
8) Study the occult.
9) Pole dance in a seedy bar.
10) Successfully cosplay.
11) Never grow old and lose my fandom love.
12) Get a mohawk.
13) Sit on a beach when it's snowing.
14) Write a song and send it to every record company I can find with no intention to become a musician.
15) Find my muse.
16) Create a subculture.

And my most important:
17) Have a completely unclassic romance.
Instead of falling in love at a party, we'll meet at Comic Con. Instead of marrying at the beach, we'll just get Ring Pops and move in together. Instead of communicating through love letters, we'll make YouToube videos. Instead of kissing in public, we'll high five. Instead of matching t-shirts, we'll have matching toe rings. Instead of a honeymoon, we'll have a seance. Instead of romantic dates, we'll read Batman comics.
No silly fancy dinners. We'll go to IHOP and order literally everything on the menu. At three am. And we'll cuss a lot. We'll dirty talk in public and laugh when people trip us on the Subway. We won't have kids. We'll have ferrets. TONS OF THEM. We'll dance to MSI, and fawn over our favorite movie stars, and read National Enquirer together, and go to psychics on our weekends off.
We won't have the stereotypical romance. We'll make our love our OWN.

I've been a member for quite a while, but never really contributed anything.
Today's the day! I'm almost 21 (SATURDAY!!!!) and decided that I want to take my life list seriously.

And this week I started my life list. It's not finished yet, but I figured I'd put what I have so far up.
It was really fun to make. I noticed a ton of the stuff on my list was music related.
Just a little explanation to why that is: I have played guitar for somewhere around ten years.
Started as a little hobby: oh look a guitar I want to learn to play.
Eventually it became a source of enjoyment, entertainment, and sometimes even stress relief.
Now, being in a band and a as guitar teacher, my life sort of revolves around guitar and music itself.
If you enjoy it and you're good at it, you might as well do it, right? Well, without further ado

Kiss in the rain
Have someone fall madly in love with me despite all my flaws and the fact that I am a single mother
Get into college
Graduate college
Become a paid (a.k.a. professional) actress
Raise my son to love and respect women, animals, human life, and himself
Never use physical discipline
Buy my own house in a beautiful city
Have the perfect wedding
Be the lead singer in a cover band
Look damn good in a bikini
Find a “little black dressâ€
Pay for my own boob job
Experience a “g-spot†orgasm
Get all the tattoos that I’ve been planning for years

1. Watch a Broadway musical. Wicked, Rent, Hairspray, Les Miserables.
2. Go to Europe.
3. Live on my own.
4. Meet someone internationally famous.
5. Change someone's life.
6. Write a book.
7. Have an essay/article published in a newspaper.
8. Debate with someone formally.
9. Get into Ateneo de Manila (even if it's just for bragging rights).
10. Have a library, and fill it up with books i've read.
11. Have kids.
12. Captain a team.
13. Have an original DVD collection.
14. Become a jack of all trades, but master of just one thing.
15. just so it's 15, get 1000 comments on a single LJ entry. Aha. ha. ha.

This is my life list. Some of these only make sense to me, but read them anyway.

I have been a member of this community for a little while but still haven't had the chance to post since I really didn't have a list written out. But after thinking it over I decided that my list would be an on going list that I will be able to add to and even cross off once I have accomplished it. So here it goes:

    The things that I would love to do before I die

1) Give a disturbingly large sum of money to someone who isn't part the church (Legit money)

2) Live in a haunted house with all my close friends for at least one or two nights

3) Own my own house, preferably with my life-mate.

4) Get drunk and have a blast with some friends at a party or whatever (I hate the taste of alcohol and personally against that kind of thing, but it's always seemed fun, at least once)

5) Play in a band and be pretty decent and have a blast doing so

6) Make love in a forest (preferably a wilderness area or not so trafficked forest, not a national park), or behind a waterfall

7) Skydive

8) Write a Novel, or a few and have it be an excellent piece of work (even if it doesn't receive any kind of reward)

9) Have (or participate in) kind of a massive role-played Airsoft or Paintball scenario, like a team of us trying to rescue hostages in a an abandoned warehouse where everyone has their designated roles and whatnot. That'd be EPIC

10) Like the above, I'd also love to have a semi-epic sized played out medieval battle using like quality rubber weapons and stuff like that

11) Have an outdoor celebration directly in celebration OF or IN the moon (light) for a night or so

12) It'd be pretty cool to see a huge (and intact) bag of dirt be dropped from a plane and explode into a mushroom cloud of dust!! 8D

13) Rent or Live in (for a while) a totally cool studio apartment!!

14) Learn to thoroughly play the piano

15) Design and Build a house with an elaborate (and fully dynamic) underground chamber for music, parties, noise, privacy, theatre stuff, games whatever! And live in it

16) Go to Australia!

I'm hoping ALL this could be achieved. It's not a necessity but it'd be great.

I have so many things that I want to do before I die. Some of them may surprise the people I know as its so unlike me. So I decided to post and check these things off as I complete them.

1. Go blonde. Blonde is the one color my hair hasn't been.

2. Read all Anne Rice's books.

3. Have long hair.

4. Go to Ireland.

5. Learn belly dancing.

6. Create a masterpiece.

7. Swim with Sharks.

8. Go ghost hunting.

9. Be a licensed driver.

10. Own a horse.

11. Own my own house.

12. Own a mustang (the car)

13. See a ghost.

14. Have a adventure.

15.Actually have a honeymoon.

16. Write a novel.

17. Be happy.

18. Kiss in a waterfall

19. Be understood (even by myself).

20. Go to translvania.

21. Actually see all of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

22. Get a job.

21. Go on a trip just me and Abby.

I created this list a few years ago and I keep adding and crossing things off. There is so much to do in life and I wonder if I will ever be able to accomplish all if this. But I am going to try!

This list is subject to change... could add things or get rid of things. But here is the list thus far.

 

So uh...being a HUGE Switchfoot fan, one of my dreams for a while has been to meet them. Or at least meet the lead singer, since he's an amazing song writer and has inspired me in so many ways.

A member of the cast of A Tale of Two Cities just so happens to be my best friend's father. I mean, he used to drive me home from choir rehearsal twice a week. I know him QUITE well. So I went to see the show a few days ago (phenomenal, by the way) and he took me on-stage and backstage and to see his dressing room...it was a dream come true. I even got to see the costumes, which are GORGEOUS, and had to work VERY hard to make sure I wouldn't steal one lol.

But yes. It was amazing :)

I know this is a pretty vauge list, but I don't really know how to divide this into something smaller. I plan to start doing the "101 in 1001" lists, to accomplish these, and many more goals.
