Ted Leung on the Air In addition to working on Chandler, I am involved in a few other Open Source efforts. I am a member of the
Apache Software Foundation, where I was one of the founding members of the
XML Project, which I also chaired for two years. I was one of the original developers of Xerces-J and have also contributed a little to Apache Axis. I am currently one of the shepherd mentors of the
XMLBeans project. Thom May and I are the maintaners of the
PlanetApache ASF community weblog. My first book,
Professional XML Development with Apache Tools : Xerces, Xalan, FOP, Cocoon, Axis, Xindice, was published in December 2003 by Wrox. It is a survey of the Apache XML projects.

I am also one of the core developers of the
Pyblosxom blogging package.
