does this always mean jail time served?
i have noticed more and more tattoos on the hill similar to this and a little birdie told me (aka the movie crybaby) that this means the wearer has done some time.
stick with me if i am wrong but i am asking you…..
i think they are kinda hot but if they always signify a life o’ crime i might have to change my mind.
p.s. super genius:
don’t laugh at me! i am trying to learn the ways of your world!

In Blood Out, Blood In the say it means that you’ve killed somebody. Wikipedia says it can mean you’ve been in prison, killed somebody, that you’ve lost a loved one, or some combination. I always thought it was the killing one…
I’ve already heard that it wasn’t representative of serving time. Rather, that you had “offed” someone. I’ve seen people with multiple tear drops before too.
I’ve never seen one with color though. My guess is that this is just a “hip” trend. I’m not hip though so I can’t confirm.
already = always
oh the things you learn.
i always thought it meant you killed someone. period.
I also believe it’s a gang-related tat that means that you’ve killed someone. At least, that’s what it meant in the hood in T-Town. (Reprazent!)
If a hipster gets this tattoo and then gets his ass kicked by a gangbanger, I will laugh at said hipster, but only if he or she is not seriously hurt.
BTW, lady, I sure appreciated you dropping by my capitol hill blog, but the http://www.98102.net site is closed down, as you may have noticed. I’m still blogging! Drop by and see me!
