La Cosecha founder Liz Giachetti
As the ministry has grown, La Cosecha has expanded to help all those in the community who are in need. Held every year on the first Saturday in August, the entire church campus is transformed into an outreach center.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8888.jpg)
There are games and activities for the children and youth, haircuts, manicures, free food and drinks, high energy services where everyone in attendance hears the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and of course, the school supplies. All this is provided at no charge to our guests.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8876.jpg)
This year we will be distributing backpacks to 500 students and are excited to show and share the love of Christ. If you have a talent that you would like to use for the Lord’s purpose we need your help to make this outreach a success.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8879.jpg)
We need hair stylists, manicurists, servers, and those would love to share the gospel, and security.

Please keep La Cosecha in your prayers. We are praying for the love of Christ to be shown to all who attend, but more importantly that souls be open to the truth of God’s Word.
Saturday, August 2nd is a date you need to mark on your calendars! Our annual community outreach needs your help. Watch for sign up sheets next Sunday.

Anointing Continues as Conference Closes
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8862.jpg)
Rev.Paul Doe-Ghana, Africa
Itineraries were set, details were highlighted, but God had a different agenda. Beginning on Wednesday July 16, 2008 and culminating Saturday July 19, 2008; God's presence was every where.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8863.jpg)
Saturdays closing session began with special Christian artists Face2Face opening the evenings' activities with praise and worship.
Praise and worship was intense and purposeful as the Holy Spirit was given free reign in the service. Pastor Boykin greeted the crowd and thanked all of the delegates for the sacrifices they made in attending the conference and for making it such a success.
Following the greeting by Pastor Boykin, Church of All Nations Youth Ministries Director Pastor Ralph Giachetti encouraged those in attendance to continue in an attitude of praise as the evenings' activities continued.
A special presentation by Church of All Nations youth choir was given as they performed the song, "Hallelujah Anyhow."

Pastor Paul Dickens Doe of Ghana, Africa had the privilege of bringing God's word.
Pastor Doe's message centered around change and how change is the one true constant we can count on. Pastor Doe continued his sermon, speaking on America and how what happens in America affects the rest of the world. Whether it is in the arts, entertainment or preaching, all the nations of the world want to emulate the United States of America.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8865.jpg)
Reverend Doe emphasized the responsibility the United States has in this regard and how it must return to its righteous origins.
Pastor Doe remarked how America has slipped into sin and how the enemy is attacking the family from within to accomplish the downfall that we see today.
Americans have been preoccupied with making money, while the enemy has used television and music to influence a generation referred to as the "Baby Boomers."

As a result, a spirit of rebellion was born in which we see the innocent shedding of blood through abortion. As a result of the abortion crisis, America finds itself in a nosedive. These events have triggered a chain reaction.

How to Handle Disappointment and Discouragement": Part II Kings19:1-9-Sunday July 20
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8869.jpg)
Rev. Mark D. Boykin
On Sunday July 13, 2008, Pastor Boykin began his sermon from the text of I Kings 18:17 through I Kings 19:8. This text details the story of Elijah and the battle of the gods at Mount Carmel.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8870.jpg)
Elijah challenged the false prophets, who worshiped Baal, to see who's god was the mightiest. The false god of Baal came up shorthanded. The one true God rained down fire to burn the altar to Him, and the false prophets were killed.
Following this great victory, Jezebel threatened the life of Elijah and he ran, finally hiding in a cave, even from God. The question is: why did this great prophet run away after such a great victory? After Elijah's great victory, disappointment followed. After a spiritual blessing from God, the glory of God follows your life for a time.
![[image]](http://mowser.com/img?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbocachurchofallnations.com%2Fimages%2Findex.8871.jpg)
-The most vulnerable time in your life is after a great victory, because your guard is down and you are weary and tired. This is when discouragement sets in.- Pastor Mark Boykin
As the clouds dissipate, disappointment and depression follow. The story of Elijah continues in I Kings 19:1-9. After being threatened by Jezebel and running from the Lord, Elijah fell asleep under a Juniper tree and prayed that he might die. An angel touched him and said: "Get up and eat". He lay down again and fell back asleep. The angel of the Lord came back a second time and said: "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you."
