After doing a spectacular job winning the Shortcut Challenge on Shear Genius 3, Episode 7, Janine Jarman stepped up and blew away the other SG3 contestants, judges and viewers in The Elimination Challenge.

I decided to go back and do a blow by blow, no pun intended, of all of Janine’s actions, quotes and results for anyone who missed this hair diva extraordinaire on the show last week.  I for one can’t believe it’s only Saturday and we have to wait four more days until the next competition with the bottom four.

The Elimination Challenge started with the five contestants being greeted by host/judge Camilla Alves wearing a short sleek bob.  Probably a wig but definitely cute.

She told the SG3 contestants about their elimination challenge which was designing hairstyles for Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Estelle who was hold “a Red Carpet event that will be happening here, later tonight.”  Camilla then introduced Estelle. (more…)

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - December 2, 2009 - Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls) has been added as the third and final judge on NBC’s upcoming a cappella singing competition series, “The Sing-Off,” a four night holiday event premiering Monday, December 14 (8-10 p.m. ET).

Hosted by multi-platinum recording artist Nick Lachey, the one-of-a-kind battle of voices will continue on December 15 and 16, culminating in a live finale on December 21 (each night 8-10 p.m. ET). Steve Wozniak and Karina Smirnoff have Twitterville, the Blogosphere and tons of iPhone and Apple fans on their side.  Not to mention the fact that America has fallen in love with the charming, funny and downright adorable Woz, as he is called by all his fans.

Yes, we already love Karina Smirnoff.  What’s not to love?  She’s gorgeous, dances like the champion she is, has stunning hair and is in love.  What more could anyone ask for?

Well on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) the professional dancers can hope and pray for a great partner.  What Woz has going for him is his heart of gold, super genius brain he’s the co-founder of Apple) and that smile that lights up the world.  He also has legions of long standing fans, not just from DWTS.  Plus he’s a great sport, doesn’t complain and keeps telling the world he’s in the DWTS competition to have fun.  What an awesome attitude.

Poor Woz has suffered not one but two injuries (fractured foot, pulled hamstring) which left him hobbling for the most recent rounds of DWTS.  Many of the shows watchers believed he would fall and be the second celebrity to be cut.  But don’t count out The Woz and his fans. (more…)
