Team Clinton Gearing Up for 2012?

July 18, 2008 3:58 PM

ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Rumors are swirling over whether or not former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is secretly planning a run for the presidency in 2012.

Clinton aides have stressed that Sen. Clinton's, D-N.Y., focus now is doing everything she can to help her party's presumptive presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., emerge victorious in his race for the White House.

However, over the past week several items have piqued the interest of speculators who wonder if Clinton and her team are gearing up for a possible 2012 bid.

This week Clinton sent her donors an email noting that she would welcome contributions of general election funds they donated to her presidential campaign to her 2012 Senate bid. General election funds are traditionally returned to donors if the candidate loses in the primary race. Clinton's campaign is required to return this money to donors by August 28th. With that deadline approaching, Clinton emailed her supporters offering them that option.

The catch? The funds from her Senate account could be transferred into a possible 2012 bid for presidency, if Clinton decides to run.

Today, as first reported by Marc Ambinder, the Markham Group (a firm that directed all of Clinton’s advance work) has purchased the website HRC2012.com. A spokesperson for Senator Clinton denied that this website was at all affiliated with Clinton saying that there were only three websites associated with the former candidate, which include www.HillaryClinton.com, now dedicated to Clinton’s Senate re-election bid;  www.Hilpac.com, Clinton's PAC now run by Capricia Marshall, who has worked for the New York Senator for years; and www.contribute.hillarycampaign2008.com, a site solely dedicated to donors who are interested in helping relieve Clinton's Senate debt.

For those Clinton supporters interested in the possibility of a Clinton run in 2012, there are "Hillary Clinton 2012" t-shirts on sale. The company Skreened is selling the shirts for $23.39.

Spokesperson Mo Elleithee attempting to debunk the rumors that Clinton is preparing for a 2012 run said to ABC News, "The only 2012 race she is interested in is her Senate reelection bid."

Make it stop. Please just make it stop.

This is all spin, I don't believe she will run again. She did not have the support now and she will get even less support in the future.

Posted by: Joe Reed | Jul 18, 2008 4:16:54 PM

What's wrong if Obama is lost in Nov, then she can re-run in 2012. I'm looking forward to see her again in 2012.

Posted by: Laura | Jul 18, 2008 4:18:19 PM

Clintons time if up!

Posted by: gl | Jul 18, 2008 4:21:00 PM

The Hilliary needs to her madness! If she couldn't bet Obama in 2008, she will not be able to bet him in 2012. If he lost 2008, she better realized her bid for 2012 really won't happen. Clintons can not be trusted.

Posted by: gl | Jul 18, 2008 4:23:54 PM

When Obama loses it won't be because of Hillary supporters! Hillary 2012!

Posted by: Jackie Lonso | Jul 18, 2008 4:26:14 PM

When will senators begin to represent the state they are from and not use that position just to run for President?

Posted by: Eileen | Jul 18, 2008 4:29:45 PM

Obama will win and she can try in 2016. If she's not too old by then.

Posted by: Eric, California | Jul 18, 2008 4:36:44 PM

I plan on holding my nose and voting for McCain. I absolutely will not vote for Obama, he's too busy blowing blue smoke up our skirts.

NO-BAMA

Hillary '08!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Steve | Jul 18, 2008 4:39:07 PM

Obama doesn't win the population vote in 2008 and she will be the front runner and beat McCain in 2012. The 2008 presidential election was manipulated by DNC and 30% of her supporters will remember it in November.

Posted by: stephanie | Jul 18, 2008 4:40:56 PM

So Obama is going to Europe and the Middle East huh. Yeah right, he's trying to pretend he's going to be President. NOT ON MY VOTE!! Did anyone see the JibJab quicktime? Very funny. Obama is riding a frigging Unicorn which is flying over the rainbow. Perfect. More lies of blue skies.

Posted by: Jon | Jul 18, 2008 4:45:35 PM

I agree. If Obama loses b/c of Hillary supporters she can kiss 2012 goodbye, b/c this Obama supporter and many others will vote against her.

Posted by: Vanessa | Jul 18, 2008 4:46:48 PM

How many Clinton supporters will still be alive in 4 years?

Posted by: Steve | Jul 18, 2008 4:47:20 PM

Is she gearing up for 2012? Well, DUH! She was gearing up for 2008 back in 2000 when she was campaigning to be Senator. Why wouldn't she be preparing for the 2012 election now and planning to do nothing else for another 4 years as a senator.

Posted by: Publius | Jul 18, 2008 4:48:23 PM

This is non-sense. One party, one direction!Obama08 and 2012!

Posted by: peoples_prez | Jul 18, 2008 4:49:57 PM

Give me a break ABC...Report the news dont create it!!!

Posted by: Jen | Jul 18, 2008 4:51:01 PM

Do Clinton supporters really have so little consideration for their country as to advocate voting for four more years of failed policy on every issue that is important to America. Are they really so bitter and shortsighted as to vote against their better interests. I would have gladly voted for Hillary for Pres had she been given the nod, but she wasn't and a person who represents most of the same positions she supports is running against J. McCain, a known philanderer (in his day) who is opposed to women's rights as concern their body, who doesn't understand the economy (though his advisers certainly understand how to manipulated to steal from the poor and give to the rich, and who has clearly stated his ambitions to continue to put the lives of our sons and daughters at risk. The choice is clear and the choice is simple: Obama for pres '08 '12 and Hillary can run in '16. She'll make a great pres then, but will never get the position if her and her supporters shoot the country in the foot by working to undermine her colleague's campaign. McCain would another nail(the final?) in America's coffin. Do you really want to be part of putting it there?

Posted by: mummblemouth | Jul 18, 2008 4:54:16 PM

Yes, she can!

Hillary 2012!

Posted by: ch | Jul 18, 2008 4:55:41 PM

Jane Hussein. Why don't you run. You seem to have the answer to everything? Just keep talking like Jesse and the REPUBLICANS will WIN by a bigger margin than I expect them to WIN by in November. If Obama isn,t killed and returns from his ROOTS after this trip, I predict he'll be so confused and nervous that he'll need you,re expert advice. I sure hope so!!

Posted by: bombem | Jul 18, 2008 5:02:20 PM

Since Hillary had 18 Million voters, if they each sent her a dollar it would certainly help lilquidate her debt very quickly. Quite evident she did not have that many voters. I assume most of those people were McCain backers trying to oust Obama! It did not work!Go Hillary fans send in the $1.00 so she does not have to sell T-Shirts! LOL

Posted by: SUNMAKER777 | Jul 18, 2008 5:02:33 PM

The only 2012 race she is interested in is her Senate reelection bid."

***********************************

GEE, where have we heard that before? Isn't that exactly what she said in 2006?

Look Hillary will throw Obama under the bus the first chance she gets, just like she did to John Kerry in 2004.

She didn't care that that would mean the country would have to put up with Bush for an additional 4 years. She was planning to run in 2008 and felt that was her due and she wasn't going to let Kerry get in the way.

She knew if he won, he likely would be reelected in 2008 and she would miss her chance.

Hillary is all about Hillary's claim to fame.

Posted by: Truth Matters | Jul 18, 2008 5:07:52 PM

It seems like Clinton knows Obama is going to lose

Posted by: Citzen kane | Jul 18, 2008 5:18:31 PM

What's the point she still won't even make it out of the primary.. But this is just crap for the media to make a buck over. You guys need to report news

Posted by: Joe | Jul 18, 2008 5:21:02 PM

Do people really think that she'll have the support she'll need to win in 2012? People keep talking about she got 18 million votes, well, so did Senator Obama. Guess what, just as he needs her supporters now, should he lose (which I doubt), she'll need them. 18 million is not enough to win a general election. While you are thinking that you ruining Senator Obama's chances, you're actually ruing her chances in the future.

Posted by: DJ in TX | Jul 18, 2008 5:30:57 PM

Funny the Condi Rice headline before this has only 5 comments, but anything with Hillary in it, gets 10 times the comments. Love her or hate her (and I'm a fan) she keeps politics interesting, because she is the smartest woman in politics today and I'd trust her over all the other candidates (I'm o.k. with McCain too).
I just hate tho that she and Bill have to look like they're supportive of BO, when I know they have to hold their noses whenever they're around him and play the game.

I think Obama should pick Jesse Jackson to be his VP.

Run Hill run...by 2012, if Bam Bam does win in 2008- He will have destroyed this country and we will be on our way to being a 3rd rate power ... so we will need Hillary to govern our return to prominence. Bam Bam will sell us out to the Middle East the first chance he can get away with it...stop him now....

what the blinded by perceived slight crowd cannot see is that in their zeal to "right" the wrong they believe was done to their goddess, they are actually undermining her future viability as a candidate.

keep it up PUMA, eventually she'll be running for a house seat in Westchester... and trailing.

by the way jennifer wait for hillarys july numbers and i beleive you will see her debt almost gone, and BTW the total debt was 23 million and hillary does not want the money she lent the campaign paid back,so before you start talking about things that you dont know check your facts.and no i dont want my money back she can keep the 2k for 2012.

Posted by: don tufts | Jul 18, 2008 7:06:20 PM

It doesn't matter if you like Hillary or not - it's a smart political move to think 4 years down the road (too few politicians actually think long-term). After all, Obama has not yet won the general election, and even if he does win, there's no guarantee that he will perform well enough on the job to get re-elected (that's just a risk we take in any election). It's smart for her to support Obama while thinking of her own future, what else would you expect her to do?

Posted by: Missy M | Jul 18, 2008 7:11:23 PM

at least we do our homework and know what a crook obama is ,oh thats right you have never read up about the combine in ill government.either that or we should just become mindless koolaid drinkers because he is the lightwarrior.lol

I too will wear a Hillary '12 T-shirt, proudly. I emailed Dean again today to let him know how millions of us feel about the unfair treatment of Democrats this year. There was nothing about this primary that was fair, but Hillary will have our support again in the next run, unless they come to their senses before the convention in Aug. I would love something radioactive to happen to Obama before then (unlikely). MILLIONS OF US HILLARY SUPPORTERS WEREN'T AS LOUD AND RUDE AS OBAMA SUPPORTERS DURING PRIMARIES, BUT WE WILL QUIETLY PULL THE LEVER FOR McCAIN NOV. 4TH.

Hey Rachael...when Obama loses, Hillary will be blamed as usual, but it's just free thinking Americans who put their country before party/policy. She's used to getting knocked down tho, and just getting back up again. Not like your anointed, protected one...he just can't handle any tough shots. He can't handle the Presidency and that's why millions of us aren't voting for him.
DON'T BLAME HILLARY.

jennifer,i would much prefer a moderate republican than a socalist or worse obama.pray tell me if the dems control both houses then that puts a check on mcains court appointments.second any politician that wood ignore low income residents in his own state senate district and not care that rezko regularly abused his tennants ,34 days without heat in a chicago winter,so as to not offend rezko.dont tell me lies it was obamas JOB to know what was going on in his district and the papers were full of rezko.so tell me why we should put a crook in the oval office.oh thats not enough for you how about obama sponsoring and ramroding the bill in ill that changed the make up of the hospital facilities board from 15 to 9 members, you know the board that rezko had rigged and that was one of the main reasons he was convicted on 14 counts and faces 300 years, the same guy the FBI has survaliance of going into obamas offices on aregular basis.so go ahead stick your head in the sand only read obamas propaganda it is what it is and time will tell.

you know hillary does not control us,we own our own votes.we are democrats that are opposed to barky.dont give me any crap about how great he is ,his vote on fisa says it all and his stance on bushs faithbased nonsense so you can take your propaganda elsewhere.dont forget that 18 million of us voted for hillary and as far as im concerned this party needs a new party of centrist democrats and moderate republicans that way the dems can have the wingnuts on the left and the republicans can have the neanderthals.

Posted by: don tufts | Jul 18, 2008 10:28:45 PM

oh and jennifer one of the things my parents taught me was to read both sides and make up your own mind.also it says a lot about mcain and his makeup that he takes a mike and takes any and all questions in a semihostile enviorment{naacp convention}i mean barky is screening the attendees at his functions ala bush.when he stands and takes questions from a semi hostile crowd maybe my opinion would change a little, but barky has a basic honesty problem.

Don - no problem. I am the real deal. Last time I voted for a Republican for President was 1984. So I guess I am referred to as a Regan Democrat. Obama is not even clse to being qualified to be a manager of the county dog catcher division much less the Presidency.

Posted by: RegisteredDemocrat | Jul 19, 2008 12:21:05 AM

The very fact that the Clintons are up to their old shenanigans of putting out little 'slips' as 'code' to her PUMA-hag base that she's up for running again in 2012 IS going to count against them if Barack loses. Even if it had nothing to do with him losing. Because many Barack supporters will look at the polls which show only 60% of Hillary supporters saying they'll vote for Barack and will feel like returning the favor.

Hillary's best shot is still 2016, even though like yeah many of her supporters'll be like in their 100's by then . . .

Nothing suggest Clinton are gearing for 2012, and I truly doubt it. What she is doing is basically trying to reduce her loses from the primary run. By getting the general election funds in her senator-purse, she can pay her debt over a longer period of time.

Clinton said she is not working to recoup the money she lend herself, only the money borrowed to campaign vendors. It should work, if not for the luke warm help from Obama, then for the help of her friends. The money is nothing.

What to do with her almost 2000 delegates, gotten from 18 million voters are a bigger issue. They deserve respect, and Obama for that reason should pick Clinton to be VP. If not, she has the mandate to take it to the convention, which I think she should. I am afraid she won't though. Dems play on her loyalty, and Obama gets a free ride. He is not worth it, and USA is the looser for it.

The pro Obama media made him.He got his start in Iowa with 36% (63,000)of the vote, not what I would call a mandate.Hillary's people didn't want her to campaign in Iowa as they have never voted for a woman for any important office and 75% of the Repbs believe B ush is doing a great job .Then the media made him the Messiah.

Posted by: roncraw | Jul 19, 2008 1:00:24 PM

If Hillary even considers sabotaging Obama's presidential campaign, Hillary will NEVER, EVER become president!
The millions, and millions of people who voted for Obama WILL NEVER vote for Hillary. Hillary will NEVER without Obama voters, so Hillary needs to realize that this is NOT about her ego, that this election in November is about making sure that the citizens of this country get a democratic president who wants to bring the Iraq war to an end, and focus our attention on fighting against AlQueada, and the Taliban in Afghnaistan (the people who are responsible for 9/11).
Hillary need to realize that this is about electing a democratic president who will make sure that the millions of Americans who do not have health coverage will be able to afford it. Hillary needs to realize that this election is about getting a democartic president elected who wants to give the MIDDLE CLASS, and the POOR in this country the tax cuts, because those are the people who are suffering the most, who have having a hard time paying their rent or mortgage, and buying food, and gas. Hillary needs to realize that this election is about getting a democratic president elected in November who will put the USA on track toward energy independence, a president who will encourage the oil companies to start drilling on the land THEY HAVE RIGHT NOW SITTING IDLE! Hillary needs to realize that we need to elect a democartic president who will ALSO invest in alternative sources of energy like biofuel, geothermal, wind, solar, as well as who wants to invest in SAFE nuclear energy, as well as clean coal energy, so that the USA can finally stop being dependent on foreign countries for oil, and at the same time create jobs right here in the USA for American citizens.
Hillary needs to realize that this is not about ego, that this election in November is about electing a democartic president elected who will secure our borders with border agents, with infrastructure, as well as with technology, to cut down on illegal immigartion. Hillary needs to realizes that we need to elect a democratic president in November who will improve our elementary schools, and highschools, so that our children are properly educated, a democratic president who will offer college students tax credits so that they will be able to afford to pay for college. Hillary needs to realize that we need democartic president elected in November, who will fight for the rights of women to get paid the same as a man for the work they do. A democartic president who will protect Social Security and to make sure that it will be there in the future for all of us. Hillary needs to realize that we need to elect in November a democratic president who will give the tax cuts to the MIDDLE CLASS, and the POOR in this country so they can afford to pay their rent or mortgage, and buy food, and gas.
That democrat who will do all these things, and who needs to be elected in November is Barack Obama.
Any effort Hillary Clinton makes to try to sabotage the this presidential election in November will only result in millions, and millions of people suffering for 4 more years. And I am sure that Hillary does not want that. NO ONE with a heart would want her own democratic supporters to suffer for 4 years! And Hillary knows that 4 more years of republicans is going to result in things getting WORST, and WORST in this country!

Posted by: rachael | Jul 19, 2008 3:52:28 PM

Rachael - What you fail to realize is that most of the idiots that voted for Obama are young people without a job. In 4 years, they will be out of college, working, and losing money to taxes. And then they will think - oh crap, I can't afford all of these promises. By the way, I can't quite figure why you think Hillary doesn't realize the dire straits our country is in, especially with health care, as she was fighting for the poor long before Obama. Wake up!

Posted by: calm down rachael | Jul 19, 2008 4:38:18 PM

Posted by: Jill | Jul 19, 2008 5:15:07 PM

Has Hillary paid off her debt yet?

Posted by: MusicIsOurHigh | Jul 19, 2008 6:24:08 PM

Calm down Rachael,

Obama won largely because of his wins in caucus states. College students do not have time to go to all-day caucuses. Hillary is trying to move on because she wants a political future. Her supporters might have trouble letting go, but she is looking to the future. Calling Obama's supporters idiots won't help her cause in 2012, regardless of who wins this year. Obama's supporters have memories too. We can hold Hillary responsible for their behavior, should they choose to sabotage this year's election, just like Hillary's supporters are holding Obama responsible for his supporters' behavior.

Hillary knows she cannot win in 2012 with half of the Democratic Party against her, because she were already hated by most of the Republicans and at least half of the Independents don't like her. Hillary's supporters, if you are what you say you are, you should give your candidate a chance in 2012. She wants to move on. So should you.

I meant she is already hated by most of the Republicans. Should have remembered to check my grammar.

This is just another example of her true character.

why is everyone so blind??? If she wants too she can it her decision. I think the ecomony would be much better with her. than it is right now. We someone who would helps us as a nation in times in need. We need a true leader. But leaders arent made you have to find one!!!

So much reverse discrimination being said against Hillary! I guess she is not allowed to run in 2012 because she is not black.

Posted by: NEXT | Jul 19, 2008 10:50:08 PM

She's trying to mis-calculate again? She didn't see Obama coming in 2008, so now she's double-blind for 2012. She lost the 2008 primary, and she actually thinks she can win one in 2012????!?? If Obama doesn't win in November, she'll never get one single Obama voter in 2012. She got beat in 2008 pres. primary, and she'll lose the 2012 primary, to somebody, to anybody. She is T-R-O-U-B-L-E and I'd be very surprised if she gets voted to the Senate in 2012. Besides she'll be too old by 2012.

Most of these people posting as die hard Hillary supporters are actually republicans or racist. There can be no other explanation for them not supporting a canditate that is so much like Hillary ih his opinions. They also can not be very smart (or think themselves really smart) if they do not realize that they are not helping but hurting Hillary's chances of ever running again for president. I am begining to understand that there is not much intellegent life on the Blogs. You support a candidate for what they believe in. Not because you are pissed off.

Besides she'll be too old by 2012.

Posted by: Sallie

She will be 64 in 2012. McCain is 72. Age is not an issue.

Posted by: J | Jul 20, 2008 5:38:22 AM

The media is at it again. Trying to create discord in the Democratic Party. Trying to carry McCain for awhile and keep this race close.

Don't fall for it.

Also, I am pretty sure that conservative operatives are posting a lot of the junk on this site in order to sow seeds of discontent. You know, they say something really nasty or negative, supposedly on behalf of Senator Obama or Senator Clinton in order to upset the other side.

However, if you are a Clinton or Obama supporter, please don’t fall for this disinformation campaign and respond negatively.

Let's keep our eye on the ball folks.

John McCain was one of the principal advocates for the war in the first place, even though he has been critical of President Bush’s conduct of the Iraq War in recent years.

As a leading Republican Senator, John McCain could have impeded the Iraq war. Instead, John McCain and George Bush started a war that did not need to be fought – that Iraq war caused the deaths of more than 4,000 American soldiers and wasted more than $1 Trillion that imperils the American economy.

Senator McCain is opposed to a woman’s right to choose, and he would be appointing Supreme Court Justices during the next four years. Vote for John McCain, and say goodbye to Roe v. Wade.

Hillary supports Obama because she believes in the same fundamental causes.

And if the option is open in 2012, then she has the right to go for it.

Right now, though, the Clintons and most Democrats support Barack Obama.

I trust that you will support your candidate based primarily on their respective positions on the issues that are important to you.

Based on the issues, Obama is a much better choice than McCain.

They'll never go away!

Posted by: LongT | Jul 20, 2008 10:26:08 AM

I find it very funny when the left hears news it doesn't like, it's some sort of media conspiracy.

Posted by: LongT | Jul 20, 2008 10:28:46 AM

Go Hillary. You creamed Obama during the primaries, but the superdelegates were rigged by the good ole boys to go for Obama. Obama is a weak candidate, but the good ole boys wanted him instead of a woman. Please run in 2012.

Posted by: Doreen | Jul 20, 2008 11:52:09 AM

This is just media spin. The real story should be about strong backers of hers such as former DNC Chair Don Fowler telling her supporters to accept the results of the primary and back Obama. And for the record, Obama did win the elected delegate race and also the popular vote if caucus states are factored in and Michigan isn't counted (he wasn't even on the ballot).

Posted by: bhciapol | Jul 20, 2008 12:17:47 PM

Doreen, your math is fuzzy just like Hillary's. I do agree with you on one thing, Hillary did do a great job at debating but she also got her butt handed to her on a few different occasion during the debates. As far as Hillary being the stronger candidate, I guess that's all in the eye of the beholder I guess. Also just to let you know your comment about the super delegates and how they were rigged by the good ole boys to go for Obama. You go on to say Obama is a weak candidate, but the good ole boys wanted him instead of a woman. The Super delegates did in fact pick Obama but that was because Hillary was behind in delegates and could not beat him. NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS A WOMAN! So why in the hell would they take the nomination away from Barack when he was in the lead with the most delegates? Hillary could not catch him even though the lead was slim. Well you probably will say she was more qualified, well if that was the case neither Obama or Hillary would be the nominee because their are plenty of people that were more qualified then both of them but those people lost and so did Hillary. I shudder to think of this. She will not get any support. This woman should go pay atention to her family, take a cruise. Do something.

Posted by: ann | Jul 20, 2008 7:20:27 PM

I should add, her politics are a total turn-off!

Another Dem for McCain - Interesting.

Posted by: Another Dem for McCain Who Changed To Rep To Vote For Obama Now Ind To Vote For Barr | Jul 20, 2008 9:44:20 PM

This is America so you are free to to vote for any of the candidates. However I would like to know why would anyone vote for McCain who voted for Hillary. Is it because they have the same health insurance plans? Is it because they both support women's reproductive and workplace rights? Is it because they both would like to increase the minimum wage? Is it because they both believe workers should have the right to organize? Is it because they both want to stay in Iraq? I guess I am asking too much from my fellow Americans to make a decison based on the issues. If some of you Hillary supporters can honestly tell me that you support John McCain's policies than I can respect your decision. However, What I tend to see here on these message boards are irrational statements that are purely based in spite.

IF THE PRIMARYS WERE JUST ABOUT THE MOST QULIFIED CANDIDATE THEN HILLARY CLINTON WOULD NEVER BE PRESIDENT BECAUSE THEIR ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE OUT THEIR THAT ARE MORE QULIFIED THEN HILLARY CLINTON. SO WHY HAVE A CONTEST THEN? YOU GO OWN TO SAY I supported Hillary in the primary all the way and like millions who think she should be the nominee NOW will support her in 2012 with GUSTO. Well I must tell you politicgirl, their are over 3 hundred million people in the United States, Hillary only received 17 million plus votes. I understand that you really would like a woman as President but you really should not put all your eggs in one basket BESIDES HILLARY IS NOT THE FIRST AND WANT BE THE LAST WOMAN THAT WILL RUN FOR PRESIDENT. WHERE WERE YOU WOMEN WHEN THESE OTHER WOMAN RAN FOR PRESIDENT SINCE 1984 TO CURRENT 2008 SUCH AS Sonia Johnson that ran in 1984,
Lenora Fulani that ran in 1988 and 1992, Elizabeth Dole who ran in 2000! Just recently Carol Moseley Braun ran in 2004. All these women were better candidates than Hillary, none had stole anything from the White House, no fraud charges pending etc. Hillary Clinton will never be President of the United States because she did not know how to play the game of politics well enough for the American people not to mention she couldn't even run her campaign much less the White House and that pesky 29 million dollars debt. ENOUGH SAID!

Posted by: ORLANDO B. FROM FREMONT OHIO | Jul 20, 2008 10:32:05 PM

Hillary has sobered up from a lifetime of believing her own press releases, and has to know by now, that there will never be enough votes out there to put her in the White House, now or ever. Certainly 2012 & 2016 are out of the question, unless she wants to become the new Ralph Nader perpetual candidate, as even fewer of her few supporters will be around to care, and the younger voters never did.
