Change is the only constant in the music business, and that goes double for the digital music business. Nonetheless, we've assembled a list of the 10 hottest digital music websites in the world.

Criteria were simple and admittedly subjective: Sites were chosen based not only on what they currently do for music fans, but also on their potential to impact the future development of the music industry. Based on how things go with the first iteration, this list could be updated periodically and opened for voting.

Well, the Fourth of July holiday is over, and the long, hot summer is underway. Of course, the sweltering season, which is only going to get hotter as the years wear onward, is a subjective listening experience. Each listener demands a different soundtrack.

As for ours, Listening Post has put together a formative stack of summer jams taken from some of the reviews, interviews and views within our pages, and it is embedded at right thanks to the handy cats at IMEEM. It's also on permanent display along Listening Post's right rail, and will change form as time passes.

But, more importantly, we are on the lookout for sonic suggestions from our readers. What are you looping into your laps, pods, phones and/or consoles to help you sweat these toasty months away? Tell us and we'll sift through the suggestions and add more to the Listening Post jams.
