
This is a photo of me (not at my most dashing) with a cucumber roll in Okinawa, at a sushi bar. We were just hanging out, enjoying each other’s company. The reason you know Im in Japan is because of the little Japanese flag that accompanied my sushi roll.

TD can still make the argument that the cucumber roll is unimaginative (it is), but I feel he can no longer say that my liking cucumber rolls somehow undermines my Asian-ness.
