Want to be on camera?

camera

We are creating a video celebrating Internet Radio and pushing for a fair resolution to the royalty rate issue that is threatening all webcasters. We have many musicians and folks from the indie music community talking about how important internet radio is for them. We'd love to feature a few listeners doing the same -- offering personal testimonials on why they love internet radio and why they feel it's important for this industry to survive.

Might you be up for switching on your webcam and sending us a quick testimonial? We would appreciate it greatly. If you're interested in this little video project, shoot an email to Kevin {at} Pandora {dot} {com} with the subject line, "I ought to be in pictures." We look forward to seeing your smiling faces, and to hearing you speak up in defense of the Internet Radio webcasts that we all enjoy.

Thanks for your time,
Kevin

I've spent the past couple of days reading the blog archives, and I'm immersed in all the commentary from where international access was shut off, and webcasting in general was in danger.

Where does this all stand today?

Neat. I might try doing that later. Internet radio is awesome, specifically Pandora Radio.

I noticed the new iPhone app., and it looks great! Any news about one coming for WinMo 6.1 or anything? I've been waiting for a long time, and it looks like Pandora is finally doing mobile apps! So I really hope to see Pandora make an application that looks just as neat for the Windows Mobile platform.

Keep up the great work, guys.

I've been with you guys for a few years now. You just get better and better, I dont why you dont hold the number one spot yet in internet radio. But you will, I am confident. Many congrats on the Iphone deal. Thats a very nice leap forward, especially for those users and of course Pandora fans. I suggest you get on the bandwagon with Zune. They'll be huge soon I predict, I'm a Zune user so my hopes are high. You guys have to come up with a WIFI car radio system exclusive for Pandora. I suggested this idea a couple of years ago. I dont why it hasnt manifested yet :( Come on get busy. Just kiddin. Great job Tim and your team many more happy successes to you all. Hope to see you in Seattle soon for a conference or sponcering one of our many festivals

Well I'm new to the whole web/internet experience. I do really appreciate the opportunity to express myself and enjoy playing what I think others may enjoy experiencing.

I signed up to pandora thinking i would play the music i want and like. But no. The COMPUTER choses the music it thinks i would like. And computers dont think. Its completely based on compatability of how artists play their songs. So if i like linkin park, and there is only 1 song by linkin park on the station i made. I d not like pandora that much. Its very hard to work with. It would be nice if a person could make their own station, by taking difrent songs from a song bank that can be catagorized by ganre, group, or song name.

@mirc, i believe the purpose of pandora is to expand your music horizons. i have come across many great artists that i would never have known. if i want to make a playlist of artists i know and like, i simply do so in iTunes.

@pandora, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comments, all!

Stacy -
Pandora is still only legal in the U.S., unfortunately. We'll do everything we can to legally stream in other countries, and as soon as that happens, we'll post about it right here in our blog. :)

Quikboy -
We're working on it!

Roland -
Thanks!

Pandora is meant to be a music discovery service -- sorry you find it hard to work with! Feel free to email pandora-support@pandora.com if you have questions or want some station guidance.

Thanks!

I just heard about Pandora on a web site I go to.You guys play music I haven't heard in years. It's the best.plain and simple.keep it up guys.I like 80s rock bands and assorted types of music.Pandora is unreal.I have never heard or experienced anything like it.I punch in my favorite band and boom. its there.internet radio is the best right now to me anyway.you get access to music you normally can't or would never hear on regular radio. which is all ads and contest crap. I just want straight up my music.and I get to hear other types similar to what I like. and bands I would never hear of if I didn't listen to pandora. It's a cool program.
