I love to experiment with wordpress plugins to see which ones I like. Some, like Link Harvest didn’t work out. Some, like Popularity Contest is on the bubble.
But others have been working well:

Random Redirect Top Commentators This shows you who are the top commentators on your blog. The configuration is easy and works well. Articles While I did get this to work on the sidebar, I didn’t like how it looked. I’d like a little more customization, but I think I can get it with a little hacking of the php in the future. I like what it does out of the box. Execphp A wonderful little plugin that lets you put php code on your widgets in the sidebar. Heaven-sent! Post Views Great way to keep track of which of your posts are most popular. Also very easy to use. Fuzzy Recent Updates Highlights which posts you’ve recently updated, new or older. Identify External Links I like the idea of identifying links when you are going to send your readers to another site. I’ve been using manually a variation on this, but if you want a full comprehensive plugin which will help you track your projects and manage the posts, I’d highly recommend the Progress bars by Eve at NeedleExchange. Random Header Not a plugin, but can be adjusted for use by just about any theme if you’re willing to edit your theme files. of course, for spam control, Akismet Sitemap Generator, Google Sitemap Generator Feedburner redirection So you can change the default wordpress RSS feed to use the feedburner RSS. Related Entries I’m currently using this plugin but I’m not very satisfied with the performance of it as it’s not very accurate. I’ll likely change to using Related Posts.

I’m always looking for a good plugin and looking to try out new ones. The next two I’m looking forward to trying are: wordpress vcard and organize series.
