Reminds me of when I saw Cocker in the early 70s in VA. He got booed off the stage for his inability to support himself without the floor mike plus a few too many, um, "freelance lyrics." But just to show us there were no hard feelings, as h stumbled off into the night he indicated clearly that we were still #1 with him.
