Contributions to the Alaskans for Begich are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act. That law prohibits federal contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions or gifts to Alaskans for Begich are not tax deductible.

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle

Contributions are limited to $2300 per individual per election. The primary and general elections are separate elections, so individuals may give up to a total of $4600 for both elections.
