Compere – Terry Alderton

 

Terry’s professional career began in 1989 after winning a talent contest. He was quickly spotted by Sky and made his television debut at the age of 18.

 

Seeking a greater challenge, Terry decided to take his larger-than-life impressions to the comedy circuit, where he still occasionally comperes and tops the bill.

 

TV credits include Saturday Live, Glamorama with Jack Dee, Viva Cabaret, Raw Soup, The Main Event with Chris Tarrant, and Celebrity Squares. He also co-presented LADS, covering male obsessions including cars, beer, football and women.

 

Terry joined Lulu to present the National Lottery show, Red Alert. He has since crossed over into drama as a lead character in the series London’s Burning, and has hosted his own show on Capital Radio.

 

Terry also presents a number of videos on Virgin Media Sport, and is in the presenter lineup on the new Setanta Sports News channel.
