Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 at the track

no cost to 2008 AVTC members

new members very welcome!  You can come once to try it out, and then if you want to continue coming, please register with Dave or Jill Sherlock.  There is a registration paper to fill out, and a registration fee of $25 is due at that time.  That fee will allow an athlete to attend all of the practices, which go until November, and cover the entry fee into our annual Cross Country Race at Sproat Park on September 21.

 

Cross country is a great way to get into better shape.  Cardio training is a base for all other types of training and fitness, and is important not only for track and field events, but for all other sports activities.  Athletes who can not come out regularly are still welcome to come when they are able, and do not have to enter any races if they don’t want to!
