The famous YouTube user “LocalPastor” has finally talked in public via an interview with “The Grey Coats” blog.
It was interesting to read his past story and how the pro-Lakeland people have behaved towards him:
….I have been harassed,” cursed” and called names you can not print on a family website—not to mention the accusations of Pharisee, legalist and being one of the religious “dead.”
Read very carefully the words of LocalPastor when he described what some of the ministries involved in the Lakeland Outpouring have tried to do in reference to hindering his “free speech commentary regarding their public ministry”
Thank you LocalPastor for all that you have done. Your videos really helped educate many people in regards to Lakeland and the bad doctrine that was brought forth from that circus freakshow.

Although the emergents and Third Wave Charismatics seem to be 180 degrees apart theologically, they have several thinhgs in common. First, they are works oriented. IF you don’t do their works, you are a second-class citizen in their world. With emergents it’s helping the poor and the environment, and with the 3rd Wave Charismatics it’s the fasting and “trying real hard to get close to God” along with speical revelations.
Second, if you dare to critique them, they react sarcasticlaly, and some, almost violently. So much for the “God’s love” these people supposedly are trying to spread.

You are absolutely correct. The one main difference Ihave noticed is that the emergents don’t curse those who disagree with them like the third wavers do.
