Tips and Tricks of Smart Advertising on Entrecard

⊆ September 22nd, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 36 Comments »

Here are the tips to get more inbox drops count without spending too much EC credits on advertising.

1. First of all, the basic rule to get more visits from Entrecard is to return drops on all your Inbox cards. This is the most basic way. Try to drop at least 300 drops a day. Give highest priority on returning inbox drops followed by high popularity blogs, most advertised blogs, and etc.

2. Take part in Entrecard Forum and write recommendations on other blogs that will increase organic clicks from Entrecard to you.

3. Concentrate on “Most Advertised†blogs and “Most Popular†blogs to buy your ads. Remember, if a site have high popularity ranking, doesn’t mean that it will refer good number of clicks to us. Only most advertised sites with good popularity ranking can deliver good return on our advertisements.

4. Have “Top Droppers†dofollow widget visible above or below Entrecard widget on your blog. Page rank concern droppers are dying to get a spot in this widget. This encourages others to drop more to get top ranking. Rewarding those in your top droppers each month by giving a permalink, EC Credits, etc will bring more returning droppers.

5. Make sure you get at least 300+ drops without any advertising running for you. If you have reach this level, buy one advertising slot with popularity ranking above 2500 (grab if the value is 1024EC). Just one advert per day will do. Continue to do this for every single day. You will see huge difference from 10th day onwards.

Top 10 Entrecarders are getting more than 500 drops each day. If you want to be in this list, try to get at least 500 drops a day for 5 days consequently, as the popularity ranking figure is the total number of drops a blog gets for 5 days.

Reduce errors in your blog posts

⊆ September 13th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 24 Comments »

It is wise to write your blog post in Microsoft Word and check if there are any spelling mistakes, grammar error, or etc. My English is not that good compared to native English speakers, but we can always check our posts grammar and spelling errors for free in Word and correct it before posting.

Don’t copy any article from word format and paste it directly in your blog write post. It will show a lot of error when loading time. Instead, paste it “html†write page. And then go to “write post†without html and edit according to your preference. This is to reduce any word errors found in your blog posts.

You can give it a try. Try to copy an article from word and paste it on “Write Post†page and view it in “htmlâ€, you can see tons of word errors there. Most of it is not dangerous, but it may conflict the appearance in some browsers. So, if you want to copy and paste any word format articles, paste it in your “html†write post page.

How to increase your feedburner number faster?

⊆ September 11th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 12 Comments »

Feed subscribers often referred to value our advertisement slots. But, it is not the main factor in determining the value. There are other vital points like traffic, pagerank, pageviews, etc that plays core role.

I’m sure you have heard about this from John Chow about tricks to increase your feedburner count numbers. This is dirty way to increase your feedburner counts. I have tried, but not his way. I tried with traditional email subscription way. This is the easiest way to get higher feedburner followers count.

1. Create new email address from any free email network like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.

2. Subscribe at your blog feedburner with your newly created email.

3. Verify it from your email address.

4. Repeat it with any number of email counts you want.

In my case, I chose 15 email addresses as a trial and it is counted in feedcount. This really works. Other than that, you can exchange rss at blogcatalog group discussion. But, frankly, exchanging rss, subscribe using own emails, etc will not be helping in long run. Good contents will help.

What if I accidentally click on my own ads?

⊆ September 8th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 25 Comments »

How many of us here have clicked on our own ads? Is it accidentally or just to make some extra bucks? This can be easily detected if you run ads from some big corps like google. So, it is best not to click on our own ads or exchange or motivate others to click it. Sometimes, we might accidentally click on our own ads.

I have faced this problem a few days ago and I’m so worried that my advertiser will ban my account. So, I tried contacting them, but it is almost impossible to find anyone that I can talk to. Some of the forum’s members guided me with this very useful link. Check it out.

So, don’t worry if you mistakenly clicked any of your ads. Please make sure you don’t click on your ads purposely or exchange ads clicks with others to earn penny as you may lose all your current earnings with account get blocked.

However, there is another way to block all those ads. Try installing Ad Block Plus plugin in your Firefox. This will block most of the ads shown on any sites. This does not include private ads. You can even block youtube videos using this plugin.

Are you blogging for fun or money?

⊆ September 6th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 30 Comments »

Who would say no to money? Everyone needs it. On my first attempt to blogging last year, I wanted to make some serious money and gave up blogging after only 3 months without making any money. Now, I’m on 6th month of consistent blogging and I learned a lot compared to my first attempt.

Money can be a good motivation to blogging but if your goal is merely to make money from blogging then you won’t make go far. Blogging needs deep interest and never expecting. Personally, I’m a comeback blogger too. I gave up and return back. This time I won’t leave blogging as I’m more addicted to it than ever before.

Here is a good example of those who don’t make any money from blogging. It is none other than the famous Monkey Fables who gets an average of 700+ visits each day for his blog and still not monetizing it. With that kind of traffic, he can be closer to Pro Blogger, Darren’s or John Chow traffic range.

If you don’t want to make any money from blogging, then you don’t have to worry about visit counts, SEO, attracting advertisers or sit like owl to grab paid post opportunities. If you want to make some money from blogging, then it is time for you to do some homework on all the above matters. A real blogger who wants to make money must be good in SEO, must know how to increase those rankings, and need to diversify ways on attracting more visitor mainly targeted visitors.

So, who said blogging for money is easy? Things can get real tough if your goal is to make money from blogging. All we need is the fire to never ever give up.

Now tell me again, are you blogging for fun or money?

Writing articles helps you in blogging

⊆ September 4th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 5 Comments »

Article writing can be a source of earning other than blogging. Earn money from blogging is not as easy as two years ago. If you are just starting your blogging experience, try not to put too much hope in earning three figures, four figures, five figures or six figures income monthly. Maybe, 3 figures are possible for early stage but more than that you need to spend a lot of time.

Besides blogging and building traffic to your site, you can participate in writing articles for money. You can check out the options at Scriplance, Elance and DigitalPoint Forum for opportunities available. Plus, you can really learn how to type fast, keyword usages, ideas, etc. Now, you can easily write about your advertiser on your blog in paid posts or offer writing services.

Even though, you don’t have anything to write today but you still want to write something. Addiction towards writing is also a side effect from writing article. Don’t worry about it. I’m sure you can sell those articles you write for money or post it on your blog.

One Year Autoblog Ready in One Week

⊆ August 27th, 2008 by User ImageAtniz | ˜ 17 Comments »

An average minimum posts needed to register any paid post networks is 10 posts in a month with 1 post in every 2 to 3 days. Or, you are posting one post in 2 days to keep active. Everyone knows content is the key of survival of any blog. How many post you have already written for your future posts?

I try to maintain with a post in every 2 days. So, I have about 10 posts in advance to be posted for next 20 days. I’m not talking about trendy or review type of posts where we talk about current upgrades like Entrebar or Partnership with SezWho. The post title that I’m talking about is something that can be written anytime in your blog.

For example, health topic can be written now and post a year later and still it is not considered as old topic. In blogging niche, topics that you can write without date restriction is SEO, Rankings, Plugins, Traffic, etc. Have you thought of having a blog that is pre-written for one year and all you have to do is just build traffic?

A simple calculation:

1 post in every 3 days type of blog:
= 365 days / 3 (One post in every 3 days)
= 122 posts.

If you could manage to write 122 articles of well structured keyword for blog posts in a week (that is about 122/7 = 18 articles a day). You could auto-run a blog for a year without doing any postings. Note that, after 3 month your blog will get reward with page rank. Now you can monetize your blog by selling advertisement space, nofollow links or write some related reviews or simply sell the domain at higher price.

So, how many autoblogs do you want to have?
